What's wrong with my cat

Just as the title says...

So I know that you can't really answer this without seeing him and if you're not a vet. But this afternoon I am at the end of my tether.

I have a nearly 2 year old indoor Russian blue cat who has suddenly started rubbing and biting on on me like a wild cat.

There is no obvious injury and he is eating drinking and using the litter tray as normal but keeps having mad aggressive attacks trying to bite me. It doesn't matter if I play with him or ignore him Sad

I'll have to call the vets tomorrow but I wondered if anyone had any magical ideas Smile

Have you been using bleach? Ours does that when it can smell it on our hands.

Have you eaten something/for some kind of scent on you? My old cat used to bite us if we'd been swimming and not fully showered afterwards and could smell the chlorine on us.

That's interesting, I don't think I've used anything different than usual.

You need to stop massaging fish oil into your skin...

Not much help, sorry, but cat might want to play more and be frustrated. I did have a rescue who would randomly bite me when I looked at him, he would get a look in his eye and I knew I was in trouble. He used to jump from the floor and go for my face. He'd had a hard life before I got him though.

There are a lot of female cats in season atm , even if you boy is nurtured he may still get the urges at this time of the year , he may just be feeling randy !

@ScottBakula maybe he is feeling a little Randy Blush
He is either being a Velcro cat or trying to bite me.

As for the fish oils, you nearly got me then lol. I wonder if he doesn't like me new candle aroma..
