Very happy new kitten slave

Name-changed because my real-life friends have been spammed with this already and I don't want them to find out all my dark secrets from other threads.

Yesterday we brought home two adorable kittens. MN is only letting me upload this one picture, annoyingly, but trust me they're beautiful. They're estimated to be 14 weeks old, and were found in a box by a lay-by. Both boys, both very very friendly and curious. We got them for our twin (12-y-o) sons, and it's fair to say that kittens and boys are already deeply in love.

My heart is bursting so much that I had to share.

Aww they are gorgeous, so sleek and shiny. I love black cats. I thought they were supposed to be lucky, and can't understand why they are not snapped up

Identical twins and identical cats, ha ha! I house-sit for a pair of identical black cats, although the owner swears he can tell them apart - tiny white patch on one of their necks - honestly it's about 3 hairs! Sometimes I think I can tell them and sometimes not. It's the feeding - are you the one who's had breakfast and are you trying it on? Or are you the other one who hasn't yet? Hmm. Am I inadvertently starving one of you or are you playing silly beggars and getting fat on it? Grin

I did learn how to tell my black cats apart. In the light. In the dark I had absolutely no idea!

Yeah it's a nightmare trying to tell them apart. One of them needs medication, and I'm REALLY trying not to drug the wrong kitten!

Yeah I hear you. I can't even tell my children apart in the dark, so I stand no chance at working out which kitten has the single white whisker.

Oh, do it! The depth of love and affection that's developing between boys and kittens already is melting my heart. I'm sure you could have the same experience....

So pleased your beautiful black boys are safe and well with you and yours. We had two lovely black and whites, brother and sister, left in the woods in a bucket. I utterly despise the people who dump animals - leave them them somewhere safe, don't leave them to die.
We had years of pleasure from our two, I hope you will too

Awwww they are gorgeous and Yes to black cats .

We have bro/sis got them as young adults so missed the kitten stage .
Very subtle differences like she walks with her claws out (click click click) he has 2 tufted ears .

They do like different rooms in the house and different people ,
