Picking up this little Bengal cross next weekend all being well! She’s five months old, beautiful, fur like silk, very happy with people, playful but chilled.

DH and I love music, puns, history. DS is one so likes most things especially cats and dogs!

Ps she doesn’t normally wear the collar. The owners put them on for the pictures so as to show who the boys and girls were.

Clawdia
Or Cleo was the first name that came to
Mind.

WinkOnlyCellophane · 13/11/2022 22:30

Yes Cleo came to mind too! She has dramatic eye liner

We had a beautiful Cleo (chocolate tabbie point Siamese) so I think that's a wonderful name - but I'm probably biased Grin

Funandgamestill · 13/11/2022 22:32

Tosca , Electra or Norma from the operas?

H1Drangea · 13/11/2022 22:34

Tabbigail
Known as Tabby

AlwaysLatte · 13/11/2022 22:34

Another vote for Cleo (short for Cleocatra). Beautiful!

AnApparitionQuipped · 13/11/2022 22:35

Silkie.

Whiskeypowers · 13/11/2022 22:37

Wow she’s stunning!
Cleo is a good choice I also think she’d suit Zeta

nomoreflyingducks · 13/11/2022 22:42

Poseidon (I know that's technically a male god but she has the colouring of a stormy sea!) or Persephone (Sef) for short

JamSandle · 13/11/2022 22:44

Lady
Smudge
Velma

WinkOnlyCellophane · 13/11/2022 22:59

Oh I love the recommendations so far! Please do keep them coming :)

She has very pronounced rosettes by the way - not just the stripes on legs and tail etc, back and belly are rosetted.

I'm going old school punk - Bengals like a bit of chaos

Siouxie (and the Banshees)
Poly Styrene
Joan Jett
Viv Albertine

Rosetta, then?

PauliString · 14/11/2022 08:05

Or Gloria.

SophiaLarsen · 14/11/2022 08:17

I was going to suggest Silkie.

Loving Norma too.

How about India?

RosesAndHellebores · 14/11/2022 08:25

Bruenhilda (hilda or hilly)
KateCat (three of Henry's wives and also Henry Hotspur, notwithstanding Medici)
Carmen
Rosamund
Isolde (Izzie)

sashh · 14/11/2022 08:25

Any excuse to post a picture of mine. She was a stray so I have no idea what she is but I suspect there is some Bengal in there.

Mine started life as 'mystery cat' which evolved into Misty

I like the Rosette suggestion or a Rosie.

LeMoo · 14/11/2022 08:27

Was going to say Rosita but live the idea if Rosetta!

Clarich007 · 14/11/2022 08:29

Cleo for sure. She looks royal!

Mabelface · 14/11/2022 08:31

Savannah
Dotted minim- Minnie for short 😉
Henrietta

I was thinking maybe she should have a Bengali name, and then I remembered the Bengali for water is Fanny, I think that would suit her.

I used to work with a Nargis, which is a Nasturtium and the name of an Indian dish that is like a scotch egg and that made me think of bhaji.

So, after all that, I think she would be a fine Bhaji.
