OK. Can anyone explain why my pictures are now sideways on? They are the right way up when I attach them but change once I post them.

Leroy thoroughly disgraced himself at the vets today - vet called him aggressive!!! Vet was really surprised as he was such a good and calm boy while he was checked over, but went nuts when he was taken for bloods. Nurse was politer and called him feisty. Either way, no bloods taken for tests and he'll have to be sedated if we do have it done 🙈🙊

He's a healthy boy though - clear eyes & ears, healthy pink gums, teeth fine, lungs and heart good, temperature spot on... a little overweight 😁

His reflexes sound fine too ...

Asbo preferred the term “assertive”. Bloody cheek of some vets.

Yes, some vets are lazy, that’s the sad truth.

They didn’t weigh Leroy right either, I can sense it. Poor little cat.

Hmm, it may be something to do with winter just being over. Girlcat has put on 0.7kg since the same time last year, and the vet said she wouldn't want to see her put any more on, though she's fine at the mo.

Leroy sat on the scales beautifully, but I think someone must have calibrated them wrong. Tbh the vet was a bit too good looking to be blamed.
Fur is deceptively heavy though and Leroy did do a pretty big poo when he got home.

He’s kippy, brilliant. Keeps hassling me to get into bed.

Struggling with heavy fur is hard for Leroy. Sympathies- can see extra snack and cuddle required.

So glad Cap'n is doing well.

Walter will also be 8 next month. Time flies. Got him while I was pregnant with my eldest. His litter were rescued from a hoarding situation and half of them didn't make it. The others had a horrid tummy bug. Walter's toxic farts were not a good mix with pregnant me 🤢

vet nurse popping round tomorrow, which is just as well cos Capn is exhausted and I can’t get his pill in cos he ate so much yesterday.C’est normale but good to have another person to assist.

I am ignoring the vet’s letter about a cat toothbrush.

Reuben was weighed recently and vet said same as in ‘we wouldn’t want him to get any bigger!”
I was not best pleased he is tiny and slender - no idea how they would view Evie - plump grandma cat of our family 😹
