Still with new man Smile

We always hate it when they change it, and we always get used to it 😂

If they don't fix the bloody cookies pop up I'm going to be absolutely livid though. I may even be fumming 😁

Toddlerteaplease · 20/04/2022 12:30

I'm trying to reply to a thread and it won't post 😡

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/04/2022 12:48

Too early to tell @Papergirl1968 , still tube fed and breathing through a tracheostomy.

Perfect time for the loo to start leaking. Luckily I’ve got my “removing carpet, underlay and gripper rod” certificate so the carpets in the back garden.

Papergirl1968 · 20/04/2022 13:33

Great, MrO! 😍 I do hope Ollie is still smitten too.
Fluffy, hang on in there. Must be so stressful for you, and now the leaky loo on top. Thinking of you x

YetAnotherSpartacus · 20/04/2022 13:35

All the best to Mr Fluffy.

Supersimkin2 · 20/04/2022 15:00

good luck Fluffy. Capn admitted to hosp
for tests, hopefully back tomorrow

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/04/2022 16:07

He’ll be back before night shift starts when he realises it’s generic cat food for dinner.

Papergirl1968 · 20/04/2022 17:33

Oh Lana, I hope they can help. I know it's useless to say it, but try not to worry. He's in good hands.

Supersimkin2 · 20/04/2022 17:37

is the loo recovering? Typical. Massively impressed you’re showing it who’s boss.

ive panicked about the cost of living crisis and bought a tomato seedling 🌱.

The pigeons are already eyeing it up.

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/04/2022 21:00

Well it’s not leaking water everywhere now. Good job we never tiled the floor in there. It will have to wait until dh is back.

Supersimkin2 · 20/04/2022 22:53

I did my loo once with chequerboard Lino from Poundland - it looked so good someone wanted to put pix in a magazine.

I couldn’t face learning to tile after the agony of learning to paint while painting the flat. Gorilla glue and exasperation did the trick nicely.

Last about 4 years so £3 a year. The secret is laying them out first and keeping a spare packet when you cock up cutting them out round the loo.

Supersimkin2 · 20/04/2022 22:58

Do you think it’s too late to ring the hosp about Capn?

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/04/2022 23:00

No I’d ring

HouseofHolbein · 21/04/2022 08:03

Did you call? How are things?

TheLongRider · 21/04/2022 11:01

This blob of fluff chased a fox out of my back garden last night at full speed!

Supersimkin2 · 21/04/2022 11:18

They’re operating now with a significant risk he won’t make it. But he’s got awful
toothache and it’s the only way to fix it. His heart and kidneys are fucked, but he can live pain-free if it works.

The vet calls him ‘my little lion’.

Capn has had a hearty breakfast.

They suggested I had him put down. Me and the vet won’t have it cos the op gives him hope.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 21/04/2022 11:23

Keeping fingers crossed that he pulls through. With a cat like Cap'n I'd definitely take the risk too. Really hope all goes well.

Papergirl1968 · 21/04/2022 11:28

Oh God, Lana, I can't imagine what you're going through. Sending hugs and positive thoughts.

MrOllivander · 21/04/2022 11:46

I have everything crossed for you and a pack of extra special ham waiting for him

TheLongRider · 21/04/2022 12:05

That's a horrible choice but I'd do what you did. The operation gives him a chance to continue terrorising the pigeons of South London.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 21/04/2022 12:36

All the best - and you absolutely made the right choice.

Fluffycloudland77 · 21/04/2022 13:19

It’s a hard choice but you need to give them a shot at recovering.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 21/04/2022 13:30

Oh Super, good luck to you & Cap'n

You have to try, you have to do your best for them and you are doing that. We have to give them that chance.

Sending you both love ❤️

Defiantlynot41 · 21/04/2022 14:29

3rd time of trying to post ...

@Supersimkin2 I have everything crossed for you and Cap'n. After a very similar conversation with my vet last week, I'm sure you made the right decision.

@Fluffycloudland77 how are things in your household? Has Puddy taken over the running of the house to her liking yet? And your DH, any news?

I've just picked up DCat1 from vet following ultrasound, so she's very wobbly from anaesthetic and is sleeping it off in a sunny windowsill
