All I can hear is little Puddy snores coming from under the bed.

Took child number 4 for a college interview so me and child number 3 went into pets at home. Came out with a lidded litter tray a scratchy fish to hang off a door handle a silicone mat for the water bowls and a combined scratching thing and little tunnel.

Wednesday is confused by the litter tray bless her so we’ve taken the door off it for now. And Morticia likes to sit on the scratching thing.

On the whole I think they like their new stuff 😊

I bought Vixen a new bed with high sides as she has taken to sleeping in one of my storage boxes, on top of all the crap in there. It can't be comfortable. The parcel arrived, she ran straight out and rolled round on the pavement in the sun then refused to come back in. About 10 minutes later, I noticed her sat in the front bit, patiently waiting. I opened the door, she trotted in, ignored the bed and lay on the empty box instead. Twat.

Luckily little Frankenstein has claimed the bed as his own (obviously not a real cat) and has been happily snoring his head off in it ever since.

I've had to buy a fourth brand of cat food as each of their previous favourites have been shunned in the last few weeks. I buy in bulk cause 7 cats eat a lot, so now I have piles of cat food in my kitchen. If they turn their noses up at the latest lot then I give up. I've even tried the "there are starving cats in Ukraine that would love any of this food" but all I get is dirty looks and "I'm staaaaaarrrvvving, no one feeds me" cries.

Our Bengal used dog beds, I think cat beds are thinner on the bases than dog beds.

Dh is desperate to make Princess Puddy a little bed but she won’t use beds, she likes to be under things not inside them.

Expected to do overtime for free to carry out tasks considered essential to the role. Actually put me below minimum wage 🙄

The GCSEs will be starting in May so I've got lots of invigilating to look forward to and a bit of time to get applying for other jobs

I dream of leaving my job every time someone says “I tried and it didn’t work Or “I don’t know why it’s so infected, we let the dog lick it every night”.

How we ever got this far as a species baffles me. By rights we should still be living in caves. There must be a higher force pulling us along because we’re just not that bright.

I keep thinking Puddy would look gorgeous with a little pink bow on her head at a jaunty angle. Not sure she’d be up for it though. I’ve got eyelash glue so it wouldn’t need a clip. Dh said she’d look like a cat who’s pissed off her owners glued a bow to her head.

Ollie has been a little git today. The man arrived and said "Ollie is at the front and he won't come in"
I went out, Ollie trotted in, gave the man side eye on the way past and then plonked himself on the cushion he's never used before until said man commented he liked it

Ollie realises the man might be a serious future proposition and not just a passing amusement.

Happy mother's day to everyone. Hope you get extra cuddles from your furbabies.

I only know where mine is because of the little snores coming from under the bed. No cuddles for me yet. She was very happy to be fed an hour early this morning.
