Took my little to the rescue cattery today, but I just couldn't leave him there. Well, I did leave him, but went back 5 minutes later, blubbering. He's well & truly "done a number on me". So, I now have 3 of my own & the 2 sisters I'm still trying to find a home for.

Now have to get him chipped, insured and decide on his name. Can't keep calling him "Little One". 😻

Our dcat was named within the family theme.. Harley Quinn. Dd has Parker (Peter) And Banner (Bruce)

My little stray is 18 now, best decision I ever made was to keep her.

And is he grateful? Probably not, the manipulative little sod .

Anyway, you'll know the names of my current black cats and you are welcome to any of them. I also did have a black cat years many ago called Enoch, not very politically correct but it made me laugh.

All of mine have been strays. I'm supposed to be retiring from having cats. I was down to one for all of 5 minutes! They just keep coming!. Thers so many out there 😔

They do have proper names too, it's just that I can't immediately work out which one to use for the cat that is in front of me 😂😂

They are Sirius and Captain Raymond Jacob Holt.

Oh he’s gorgeous, I love black cats. My first boy was a a little panther who was a stray.

I wouldn’t have been able to leave him there either.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats he hollered at me when I went back to get him and hid at the back of his carrier all the way home. He scoffed a little bit of grub and has spent the afternoon snoozing.

We have a black cat who visits our back garden every day (he lives nearby but i don't know his name). He looks like your lovely chap. We call him Kevin.

I have five, all rescues and they get on quite well, or at least tolerate each other to some degree.

Do your other cats like him particularly your fussy old girl and Ambrose the other black cat?

I have a black girl rescue. We have had her a year yesterday and can’t imagine life without her.

The only thing about black cats is it’s hard to get good photos of them as they’re just a void.

TheLongRider the other cats get on really well. Ambrose and the sisters are pretty much bonded. All cats are drawn to him. Dolly, my scaredy cat is kept separate from them. I dont want to upset her equilibrium . The few encounters she's had with him and Ambrose, she's told them off, but she doesn't mind the sisters when they cross paths.

Imagine. It's only a tiny cat rescue that I donate to anyway. I did leave food and cat litter with them.
