The question: "Why would you nap right next to a comfy, fluffy blanket and not on top of it?"

Care to add any other questions about your cat's contrariness? The answer is always the same BTW (see title) Grin

Why would you turn yourself into a pretzel to fit into that manky old cardboard box when there is a perfectly lovely, comfy, right size cat bed to use?

SoloISland · 15/09/2021 15:57

why would you sleep in any bed or box when there is that lovely shoulder and pillow to lean heavily on? All warm too....

Orangejuicemarathoner · 15/09/2021 16:01

why would you turn your nose up and flounce off when the dinner on offer was your favourite thing in the world yesterday?

Amrapaali · 15/09/2021 16:03

Loving the catitude Grin

Why would you sit looking disgusted outside the back door when there is a perfectly serviceable cat flap in that very door?

Finfintytint · 15/09/2021 16:12

Why do you ask to go out via the back door when you’ve just asked to go out via the front door but declined because it’s raining?

TaraR2020 · 15/09/2021 16:13

She's beautiful Smile

PhoboPhobia · 15/09/2021 16:13

Why do you cry at the front door and then run off when I open it.

But also why are you so flipping adorable?!

NotMyCat · 15/09/2021 16:14

Why would you investigate every single parcel that arrives?

Amrapaali · 15/09/2021 16:15

Ha ha thanks @TaraR2020- And she knows it too, cheeky madam!

I can't make up my mind if cats are incredibly haughty and contrary. Or just amazingly dim Smile

As seen elsewhere, why would you sleep on the games table when you have multiple cat nests and even a human bed on offer.

BigHeartyTruffle · 15/09/2021 16:18

Why would you sit outside the front door meowing piteously and not come in on the multiple occasions the door is opened for you? To the point that a neighbour knocks saying “I think your cat wants to be in”? And it’s then you choose to dash inside, leaving your poor human looking incredibly cruel?

LemonViolet · 15/09/2021 16:18

Why would you stay out in the rain, decapitating a frog and eating half its insides, yet refuse to even try the very expensive gourmet food on offer inside in the warm. And then when you do deign to come inside, behave like it’s somehow my fault that you are soaking wet (and smell like 🐸) and you’re starving.

Amrapaali · 15/09/2021 16:21

Now she's napping on top of DD's amplifier Confused

I swear she is doing it to rile me up. Cats- bah!

Also I'm nodding strongly at @PhoboPhobia's second question

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 15/09/2021 16:22

Why do you sit outside the lounge window in the rain howling when you know there's a cat flap around the corner? Why do you try pretend your human staff are neglecting you?, Why do you run off when I call you in from the rain?!

Amrapaali · 15/09/2021 16:24

@TheLongRider looks like you've made the games table comfy with extra insulation. Your cat has trained you well! [slow clap] Smile

Why do you refuse to use the new scratching post and continue to use the old manky one?

Amrapaali · 15/09/2021 16:26

Why do you run up to do a huge stinky job in the litter tray seconds after I've cleaned it?

And add insult to injury by kicking the litter around?

OP posts:
SpacemanDad · 15/09/2021 16:40

Why do you wait until I start packing my offshore bag before choosing it for a bed

Mine would never poo outside, always ran in to do it in the litter tray then left with a huge smirk on their face as if to say "Well you said not to poo in gardens, deal with it!"
HiGunny · 15/09/2021 16:51

Why would you want to sit in here??

The answer is "Because she's a cat"
icedcoffees · 15/09/2021 17:25

Why would you use my sofa as scratching post when you have four ACTUAL scratching posts to choose from, including half of the sofa which we turned INTO a scratching post to stop you destroying it?!

Amrapaali · 15/09/2021 17:34

@HiGunny that is hilarious!!!

HerRoyalRisesAgain · 15/09/2021 17:38

Why do you refuse your perfectly fine cat food that both your brothers eat and then steal human food off the children?
