Feeling jinxed . Very poorly Mini cat rushed to vets last night for emergency surgery for pyometra . Feeling very down at the minute, all my cats are well looked after, loved to bits (and fortunately insured) but between Darcy, cat flu, hyperthyroidism and now this, it's just been one thing after another, I feel like such a bad cat slave

How is Mini cat now? I've not heard of pyometra.

I’ve have been away for an overnight and am not home yet a friend has popped in to feed and entertain the furry overlords but last time we were away DCat3 didn’t speak to me for 2 days, how dare I leave him alone to fend for himself and allow “people” in his house. He hates all people, tolerates some of the DC, hates DH but is a huge Mummy’s boy. He’s a mini black panther so skulls looking like he’s planning on hexing the whole world.

@Papergirl1968 glad about the benign-ness but bummer on the not big driving.

Oh balls just, it’s just a run of bad luck it really is.

You are the best Just and we all know it. With 19 cats the chances of a vet visit every week, let alone daily, won’t ever be low.

You're a great cat mum though Just, sometimes you just get a bad run. I felt like I was at the vet every 5 mins with Ollie at one point

Just - you're a good cat Mum. You recognised that Mini was sick and sought treatment. That's all you can do short of going back to do a vet degree and setting up an in house small animal practice.

I hope Mini recovers soon.

Well he is moving in on Halloween so he will probably be called Pumpkin (or Albus - for some reason he looks like an Albus)
