It's excellent they've caught him but I hope they don't just send him to prison. He needs a psychological assessment and appropriate action; treatment or a secure unit. He must be very ill or psychopathic , no one does something like that for no reason and prison won't make that urge go away it very likely will make him worse. All I felt was what's going to happen when he's out on licence in a year.

Some ppl are just mean/bad/evil.

When you first posted, no one had said anything specific about him being raped in Prison etc. I’ve RFT and only thing that could possibly be misconstrued is by someone I respect immensely; she devotes all her spare time to saving cats and is amazingly unjudgemental; her aim is getting cats safe, vetted, neutered / spayed and either rehomed or released into established colonies.

I hope the bloke gets his comeuppance too.

They don’t decide our human rights but as soon as they are arrested they get better treatment than a lot of people who haven’t done anything wrong.

That aside, this man’s sentencing is very concerning. It is well known that many killers started off harming animals.

I was about to say this. They need to treat animal cruelty a lot harsher, it definitely shows a serial killer mindset.
