Decide to furiously lickwash a postage stamp area, usually on their side, and fully disregard washing any other bits. The postage stamp area looks like it’s been gelled down with some 80’s Wella.

That’s like me washing a 3 inch area on my left thigh and then smugly going, that’s me, I’m done. All fresh.

So, I love it when cats…??

I love when mine makes a little chirpy noise when someone comes into the room unannounced.

I love it when she’s playing and her she does her head wiggle followed by a bum wiggle before getting up and running away

Oh, the bum wiggle I love when they do that! Dcat's eyes go massive when he's doing that.

I love the "furry croissant" when they curl up on a jumper or cat bed, making a perfect croissant shape..

And when they chirrrup as you come into the room..

Currently loving the fun of using a cat laser pen and getting them to chase the laser pic on the carpet (eventual reward of a Dreamie ...)

Another fan of the bum wiggle. Cat does it just before she's about to take off and attack her stuffed mouse.

How peaceful she looks when she's sleeping. It's quite meditative.

The look of indignity if we move something of hers and that she has to know everything that is going on in the house. Everything gets inspected after too.

I love it when boy cat comes and snuggles in the morning and puts a paw gentle on my face.
I also love it when they're both chasing each other and girl cat crouches down so boy cat has to jump right over her. Such a clever way to stop being chased.

I love it when my cat ignores me all evening, then decides to come and sit on me at 10ish, just as I’m about to start going to bed. 🙄 I always feel so guilty about moving her!

Things I really do love is the tippy tapping of her paws on the wooden floor as she jogs to come find me.

I love it when Cheddar has just woken up from a really deep sleep. And looks all sleepy. I love it when Snorg comes for a cuddled in the night. She sits down and settles. Cheddar unfortunately doesn't know the meaning of keeping still.

My cat does that 'please pet me hand on arm thing.

I love it when my cat comes running in the catflap and excitedly tells me all about his adventures outside but I would love a translator.

When my cat was a kitten she always had to have a paw touching me when she went to sleep. If I rolled over during the night she'd crawl over to the other side and put a paw back on my face.

These days my favourite thing is her obsession with stealing warms seats and sitting like a human.

Beautiful cat! Actually they are all lovely.

When I was very little my big big sister brought home a car that she confidently declared male. Sid turned out the be Sylvia and started a dynasty of KittenKong cats. We were always playing with gangs of kittens and cats. The poor dog was terrorised by the cat horde.

I miss having pets!

I love it when cats are cats in their myriad silly and endearing ways.

I love it when our cat sticks his paw out from under the armchair to let us know he's there, he's okay, and he's ready to come out.

He hides under there in the first place because he hates the sound of ladders - so window-cleaning day in the neighbourhood is particularly terrifying for him.

I love the look on my cats face when she is reprimanded. She literally smiles and slow blinks as if to say 'nah, don't think so' she is so naughty and ridiculously cute and forgivable 😄

My boy is mine in the mornings- he comes and gets into the little spoon position in bed and expects me to give tickles allll morning- great protests if I stop. It’s the best way to wake up as I’m his FAVOURITE in the morning!

In the evening it’s all about my DH- he rolls around on his lap until he insists the only way he can be comfortable is to be sleeping in his arms like a baby, it makes me heart melt!!! At bed time DH lifts him up and puts him down on his back on the blanket and he doesn’t move an inch, continues sleeping exactly where he was placed, usually on his back with all 4 paws in the air 😂.

I think my favourite thing about cats is just having a cat!

I loved it the other day when I met a cat at a NT property. He was very friendly, offering me his tummy to tickle, then scratched me and stalked off. Felt quite proud I'd been allowed to even touch him.

Oh yes. I relocated my cats bed to the other side of the room when I moved the furniture around. He spent a good week sitting and looking at the space where his bed used to be, before eventually deciding to start sleeping in it again in its new location.

I love it how my cat meows back at me when I call his name, or ask him a question.

Yawn.

When he’s feeling relaxed, or I’m stroking under his chin, one of his incisors pokes out and the same side his top lip curls up slightly. That’s when I call him Vampire Elvis - he looks both cute and possessed at the same time!

I love how my cat never miss an opportunity try a new sleeping surface, and the less comfortable it is, he's the happiest! He loves rough texture, bumpy surfaces and uneven..
if we leave a bag, knapsack or suitcase on the floor and he claims it within seconds, and looks so proud. When we first got him, we bought a super softy cat bed, all fluffy and cozy.. he never sat in it once!
