I had a half hearted sort of my floordrobe today. As in I piled it on the bed instead.
Clearly I need Queen to show me the error of my ways.

It's not only Lenny (and TC) who attempt to break through the patio doors.

And in grown-up news; after a number of failed start dates, I finally start my new job at 9.00 this morning. It's going to feel very odd being a wage slave again, (and also being in a job that is almost entirely wfh)

I actually only start today - it's taken forever for the admin to be sorted.
I plan to keep the cats put of my office area .

Good luck for your new job, Grumpy. I confess I am slightly disappointed that your colleagues won't be dragged into The World of TC as he suddenly jumps into view on a Zoom/Teams call.

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats good luck today! I'm also completely home based now so my colleagues get regular glimpses of the terrible twosome walking in front of my camera or hear the growling in the background while they are wrestling 😂

Betsy likes to sit on the windowsill to watch me and look pretty in the background.

Having TC glare at the camera during zoom calls you'd rather not be on might be an effective strategy.

I just came home early for our weekly MS Teams team meeting (we don't have work PCs, laptops or desks, just mobiles), checked my work mobile as soon as I got in & found out the meeting has been cancelled! I am NOT going to drive 25 miles back to patrol the towns for an hour & come home again, nor is that expected, so win! Boycat is somewhat confused, but very pleased to see me about 3 hours earlier than usual.

However I do need to spend the whole of tomorrow morning scraping anti-covid stickers off surfaces around on town centre - the ones saying Covid is a hoax, ditch the muzzle, media is the virus etc.

I’m so enjoying browsing this forum while I try and learn all I can before we bring home our first cats at the end of the June... so far I’ve only posted photos of the very handsome NMC two doors up who has us all under his spell but these are (kind of, two of them, soon to be!) our own, thought I’d post a first wee hello since we decided on their names yesterday.... two of these will be Rosie and Theo (Teddy when he’s being cute!) and are due to join us in just over 4 weeks!

Are anyone else's cats WAY lazier than usual this week? I swear Ivy and Betsy have just dozed all day every day!
