Beef cat food. Do your cats like it?

Does anyone’s cat like this flavour? I buy variety packs so she has a mix of meat/fish but every variety pack has beef in it which she doesn’t like so I end up losing 1/4 of the pack. I have no problem donating the beef flavour to our local cats protection or food bank with our other donations but I feel a bit mean if some poor cat is being fed beef every day but doesn’t like it either. Do your cats like beef? She isn’t overly keen on duck but will at least at half of it if I give it her occasionally.

My cat likes it. She has a beef and tomato pouch which is rotated with other meats. She loves them all (and is currently meowing very excitedly for her supper!)

Our cat only likes fish and chicken varieties. I think this is probably because she is spoilt.

Only really likes the fish ones, won’t eat food in sauce or gravy. Interestingly she will eat the dogs food and any human food including cake.

Least favourite flavour with my last 3 cats. They don't like venison/deer either.

Mine doesn't have beef flavoured food but can be instantly woken by the sound of a packet of sliced roast beef Doesn't like any other human food, no interest in what I'm eating at all. But sandwich beef must be shared!

Only fish or chicken here.

However my old cat used to sit by the oven if we ever roasted a joint of beef (nothing else) and demanded his share of that.

Both hate it, in the meat selection packs it ranks even lower than the chicken one.

I'll swap you! Beef is my cat's favourite, whereas she will usually turn her nose up snootily at chicken.

Mine dislike beef and refuse to eat it! Chicken or fish only. It makes my one cat terribly trumpy as well!

My cat doesn't like fish and only likes poultry with gravy, not jelly.

Put a “cat food” beef anywhere near them - except gourmet beef and tomato in those little overpriced tins - and they would go on hunger strike

@mayblossominapril one of my three cats loves our dog’s dried food and all three of them love cake. Especially Madeira or Victoria sponge

Beef's fairly popular. It's Turkey that's so revolting they can't even look at it.

Chicken is the best, up until the moment it isn't. Ditto Tuna.

My dear old cat used to turn her nose up at the beef flavour. Had many a battle with her at 2am after pestering me for ages for food, only to turn away in disgust when beef was put in her bowl before resuming the gentle but annoying poking of my head . I used to think I have never seen a cat (domestic) hunt a cow, maybe that’s why she doesn’t like it .

My car will eat all the flavours, as long as they are rotated properly, eg not two beef in a row

No, my 2 turn there nose up at any beef flavoured food. They like fish/chicken/even turkey or duck but will not entertain the beef flavour.

Mine don't love it but they eat it reluctantly. I don't give it 2 meals in a row as otherwise they wood revolt!!

So the majority of our cats don’t really like it. I think I will have to just buy individual flavours and mix them up myself. Those poor cats protection cats that have been getting our beef ones! I will have to send them a tasty selection to make up for it.

I have 3 cats and 2 of them won't eat the beef sachets but one of them will. None of them will eat anything that has lamb or liver in it. Luckily my neighbour's cat will eat anything so I give them to her for her cat.

Mine wont touch any beef cat food.

No beef here. I give it to my mums cat who isn’t that keen but less fussy than my cat.

At the moment salmon is not wanted either. So only tuna and chicken acceptable in the Felix AGAIL multi pack. So I’m not buying that anymore. Looking for a muti pack that doesn’t include salmon or beef is hard. I’m trying the DD salmon/stathe next to see.

Salmon in gourmet perle is acceptable.

One of my cats will refuse the beef and tomato, but the other eats it.
I suppose they're allowed likes and dislikes like us!
