Beef cat food. Do your cats like it?

Does anyone’s cat like this flavour? I buy variety packs so she has a mix of meat/fish but every variety pack has beef in it which she doesn’t like so I end up losing 1/4 of the pack. I have no problem donating the beef flavour to our local cats protection or food bank with our other donations but I feel a bit mean if some poor cat is being fed beef every day but doesn’t like it either. Do your cats like beef? She isn’t overly keen on duck but will at least at half of it if I give it her occasionally.

My cat will eat beef cat food, but won't clear the bowl the way he does with fish/chicken in jelly, which is his favourite. He'll eat any roast meat though, even lamb. In the early days (before he trained me!) I would unwittingly buy variety packs and not only would he not eat the lamb, he wouldn't even approach the bowl, after sniffing the air and catching a whiff of it!

He also will only eat cat food in gravy, not jelly!

It isn’t our cat’s favourite flavour (aka it doesn’t disappear within 30 seconds of being put out) but she will finish it all.
Her favourite is fish.

I tend to only buy the fish flavours. My cat doesn’t really like the beef and I thought it was fair enough as cow > cat doesn’t seem like a natural food chain

None of my cats eat beef! I thought it was just my awkward buggers as it seems to be in every variety pack I see.

Tomorrow it will be a year that I got my teeny kittens. In that year, I started as I intended to go on and bought cheapo kitten food, having ended up paying through the nose for previous cat's expensive tastes. That failed miserably: we have gone through pretty much every brand and flavour. One will now only eat the red meat flavours (Felix only) and would starve rather than eat chicken or fish, though adores fresh chicken. The other would eat me if I stayed still long enough, she is a feline hoover.

Mine loves beef but hates chicken.

Ours only like duck/turkey/chicken cat food, hate fish or red meat. Quite happy to beg for any human consumption meat though.

I’ve bought pork, ham, chicken, turkey pack. See if fussy chops will eat any of it.

Ferringa veal goes down well with ours, although to be honest I think he’s so greedy and unfussy he’d eat rat flavour if it was put in front of him…

Mine loves the beef ones so much she actually understands the word and comes running.

Feeling awful....I have no idea. I just grab a sachet and empty in into the bowl 🤷‍♀️

Sometimes they wolf it, sometimes they don't. I will need to pay more attention to what flavours they are.

I do always try to keep to a rotation of brands though.

Although, funnily enough, at the moment we are working our way through a big bag of donated Felix AGAIL flavours that my sisters cat refuses to eat will need to actually look at the flavours...
