Oh yuck! At least you saved a life though!.

Allergictoironing · 22/03/2021 20:24

Well I gather he's been arrested now, and I've been asked if I'm happy to give evidence if it goes to court. Which I will, as though it just made me angry I dread to think of what effect it would have had on an abuse victim!

I'm feeling even more glad than usual that Boycat is the only man in my life (bar mates)!

Supersimkin2 · 22/03/2021 20:40

@Allergictoironing you TOTAL HEROINE.

Order of The Litter Tray Class I awarded with gold bar for being so cool about it.

You saved someone's life and dealt with a revolting sexual criminal. Rest on those laurels, gal.

Allergictoironing · 22/03/2021 21:14

TBH I doubt he will even remember doing it, he was sooo drunk. I was standing well over the 2m social distancing requirements, and I was almost knocked out by the alcohol fumes! Envy (not envy}

coastergirl · 22/03/2021 21:26

I completely agree with @Supersimkin2. @Allergictoironing you are amazing.

Defiantly41 · 22/03/2021 23:17

Well done on both counts Allergic.

I usually start counting as soon as a packet of meat or fish comes out of the fridge, never get further than 3 before a cat appears, DCat2 ( the clever one) often turns up when I'm chopping onions as she knows what comes next in the sequence

swampytiggaa · 23/03/2021 07:21

@Allergictoironing what a day! Well done tho 💕

Supersimkin2 · 23/03/2021 07:50

It's even more important to shop the perv when they don't remember doing it. Shows how normalised unprovoked violence against women is.

I am proud to know you and Boycat and Girlcat. So is Cap'n.

I've installed a living roof on the balcony for the purposes of pet entertainment. It's a lawn of sedum with its own foundations so you water it and leave it. This magic garden innovation delights your indoor pet and provides them with their own fresh green garden in total safety.

'Delights' may not be the mot juste. Cap'n eyed it from the bed and settled back onto the duvet.

It weighs 90 kilos so getting it up 4 floors was my workout for the week. Always look at the upside!

Allergictoironing · 23/03/2021 08:03

My workout consists of my job. Installed a step counter on my phone - apparently I average well over 15,000 steps per day on a work day (and virtually nothing on my one day a week off!) Shock

My fattest bits DO seem to be getting softer, and the fat pad on my thighs seems to be retreating towards the bum in a manner reminiscent of the arctic ice cap retreating towards the pole. Sadly, as far as we know funding runs out at the end of the month so no more of the joys of patrolling the streets of the town centre Sad

Supersimkin2 · 23/03/2021 08:18

You'll be fit as a fiddle and paid for it, so job done, I say. That's a shame re end of month but you'll get something else hopefully cos everything will open again with any luck. Sympathies.

I don't think my Covid Bum, which has enthusiastically conquered the large and handsome natural bum, will ever go into retreat. At least it's comfy.

swampytiggaa · 23/03/2021 08:37

My usual workout is pushing a heavy trolley and loading it up with multi packs of water/pop/tins/pet food etc plus bags of cat litter and compost. Then when I get home I go for a run 😂😂

QueenPaw · 23/03/2021 10:33

I'm at the VET with Ollie for him to have his steroid jab and claws trimmed. He's got his fave vet today who looked after him with triaditis, she said she's pleased to see him alert and screeching Grin

TheLongRider · 23/03/2021 10:51

Has he slammed himself into a solid ball yet?

OP posts:
QueenPaw · 23/03/2021 10:56

No HmmConfused not only was he so good she clipped his claws by herself, he's also gained 0.3kg

Papergirl1968 · 23/03/2021 11:39

Great job, Allergic. You should be really proud of yourself for saving a life. And for reporting the sleazy excuse for a man. Halo

YetAnotherSpartacus · 23/03/2021 12:14

Well done Allergic! That's a fantastic achievement!

Well done Ollie! Such a good boy!

TheLongRider · 23/03/2021 16:28

I'll just add my congratulations to the chorus Allergic. I hope the cats were suitably impressed.

Allergictoironing · 23/03/2021 16:56

Been sent home early from work today, with strict orders not to go in tomorrow. That is the only thing that's impressed the cats, the fact I'm home early & will be at their beck & call tomorrow.

Supersimkin2 · 23/03/2021 18:25

I hope feet and paws are all up and day off will be leisurely.

swampytiggaa · 23/03/2021 18:28

I had my Covid jab yesterday. Gomez has been snuggled on my lap yesterday evening and most of today. Morticia came to bed with me last night... me and her in a kingsize bed so she went to sleep on my chest 😂😂.

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/03/2021 19:35

If you were nhs in my day you got a breezy “well don’t take it home with you” at most and usually a blank stare with a swift change of subject.
Allergictoironing · 23/03/2021 20:39

Well there WAS a situation a while back that I was witness to, that reared it's ugly head this afternoon too. TBH I felt pretty upset by that, and on top of everything else I'd just had enough. I had tomorrow booked off as leave anyway Smile.

Kitties are being very cuddly tonight bless them, even Girlcat who is usually much more independent. Early night tonight, possibly with a sleeping pill, and alarm turned off!

nettie434 · 24/03/2021 10:06

Allergic Adding my congratulations for life saving (and sympathies for having to deal with repulsive drunk guy). Hope you have a peaceful day today with Boycat and Girlcat.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 24/03/2021 11:31

I reckon some people here could liven this thread up ...

We’re back on M&S luxe ready meals here. Capn I mean, I’ve had a reduced custard tart.

NDN popped round illegally - for a mineral water and to plan a funeral (we party like crazy in our road) - and laffed herself quite cheerful again as she shared how her cat eats purina and does not beg from everyone entering the home.
