Does everyone else tap the outside of the bag then try and avoid the claws? It’s a blood sport.

Another “it’ll all end in tears” game is positioning a magazine like a roof and sliding a stick/pen/ hand under it waggling temptingly while your partner mutters it’ll end in tears.

DH does. He used to be a bad boy, but I swear he's got more scars from Leroy than any of the fights he was in when he was younger!

The most dangerous one to play is Killah. It involves pulling your sleeve down over your hand and presenting your entire forearm as prey.

DS was once gently questioned about self harming. "Oh no" he said "it's just my cat's a bit of a nutter" 🤦🏼‍♀️

I only ever play it if I'm wearing a thick jumper and my padded winter coat.

Ollie is covering his eyes. I was playing pat the paw the other day and he tucked his claws in so he didn't hurt me (he will pat his paw on my palm then slam it on my hand)

Girlchild has gone back to college so she is away Sunday-Wednesday. Collected her yesterday and the idiot sisters haven’t left her side since 😂😂

Dh has played Killah. I used hands as toys when he was a baby but what’s cute at 4lb is not cute at 14lb. Even when he 10 he’d approach me with the wide eyed look & I knew I had to distract him.

I use a thick padded Le Crueset oven glove when playing Killah with girl cat (nothing but the best for my cats!).She may be 4kg of petite black cat but she identifies as a rottweiler in a K9 unit.

I'm the only one who can handle her in the vets. Last time we were in for her vaccine booster she scratched a vein on the back of my hand and I sprayed blood all over the floor and walls. Myself and the vet spent more time cleaning the place up than treating her. She was safely back in her basket glowering from the depths. I was patched up with some hibiscrub and a plaster. We're all fine now. Here she is tucked up with DD whom she totally loves.

Paws has just arrived on the windowsill. Now I have two cats that don't eat any dry food...

Ollie smacked him on the bum and paws shrieked and smacked him back so they've been sat waving paws at each other

When he came back from holiday how Dr Patel and I laughed! As he wearily prescribed another tube of antibiotic cream 😁

We play hide and seek daily. Or catch. Both involve cat in the ninja-cat mode: when you see her she freezes, otherwise tries to catch you/scare you. one of the cutest things :) And if we say "I can see you rascal" she shakes and carries on as if she never even knew what ninja-cat mode is. Look away and start again.
Most of the time I genuinely scare a bit which in turn scares her and send her running under the bookcase just to start again in 10 seconds :)

We play fleas
I creep up and go < gasp > "have you got... FLEAS?!"
He shrieks and runs off then comes back for me to do it again

I've been having technical problems, so apologies for the late response, but I might indeed put a cushion under the radiator for Matt - it would muffle the clatter he makes when he crashes off.
He is also drinking more than usual, I've noticed, but it's hard to tell how much as he drinks out of the dog's bowl. It might just be that he is thirsty because he cooks himself on the radiator for hours...

The vets have done bloods etc and diagnosed.. "weirdo" absolutely nothing wrong but he's developed a new obsession with water
