How long do your cats spend asleep in daft places?

Basil decided to have a kip in a basin yesterday morning. He stayed curled up in it for six and a half hours. He has now been back in it since 9.15 this morning. This is mildly eccentric even by his standards.

Dcat goes to bed with dd and stays until school time the next morning...

My boy cat is currently lying on top of a fairly precarious stack of garden furniture that is covered in a tarpaulin. Last week he was sleeping on the metal legs of the umbrella stand which was holding the tarp down, but I moved that to make it slightly more comfortable.

He seems to chose a place and sleep in it constantly for a week then move on. I have no idea what is about this chair stack that he likes, because he's a hefty lad and it takes him ages to get up there because he can't see where to climb on the tarp. And the whole thing is likely to collapse at any point.

My cat will snuggle under the duvet and sleep there, she will sleep in a wardrobe if the door is left open, on a shoe rack shelf. A whole back I bought something from primark. I left the paper bag on the floor and she got in it and slept for ages. I kept that bag on the floor for several days whilst she continued to sleep in it that was until until she ripped it! The things you do for them 😂

That should have read a while back!

And he's also got to get past the goal post as well - he's not in kitty jail.
