Cat lost in Knightsbridge

Our indoor cat suddenly run right out of the gate when we opened it to collect a parcel today and has been missing since 6 o'clock this evening. She is a house cat so she only ever goes outside on a leash. We have gone around everywhere looking for her and we will make posters for tomorrow to stick around. I have posted on Facebook and every other social media I have but no replies so far.
Her name is Momo and she will come to anyone who bends down to stroke her (this is why I am so worried). She will meow at anyone she sees and will try to interact with you. She is a 1.5 year old white ragdoll cat and her tail fades to a grey colour (see pictures).
We are in Knightsbridge, London so if anyone sees her then please please post on here and I will come and collect her.
Has anyone experienced a house cat running away from home? How long did it take for him/her to come back?
We are all very very worried so please please tell me if you happen to see her.

Very glad she's home.

I did have a little smile at the prawns. Did you het them from Harrods?

Longdistance · 15/08/2020 23:57

Super. I hope Momo enjoyed his prawns and I’d having a lovely kitty sleep 😻

RedKittyCat · 16/08/2020 00:14

🙌 good news

alwayscrashinginthesamecar1 · 16/08/2020 01:39

Yay! But we need more pics please. Maybe one of Momo eating his —Harrods— prawns. Grin

StatementKnickers · 16/08/2020 08:52

Yay, she's home! Poor baby, she must have hated the rain and thunder. I too would like to see more photos!

Clive222 · 16/08/2020 08:56

So glad to hear your good news

Els1e · 16/08/2020 09:31

Happy to hear your good news. What a worry.

ddeokbokki · 16/08/2020 09:41

Some more photos as requestedSmile
Haha she finished her prawns so quickly and then it was bathtime straight away so I didn't get any pictures I'm afraid.

That is one spoilt cat! :)

Does she really eat prawns?

Fluffycloudland77 · 16/08/2020 10:37

Meh, why not prawns?. Their not around forever so you might as well indulge them.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/08/2020 10:53

My (limited) experience of prawns is that they are fiddly and require a set of surgical instruments to get to the actual 'good bits' - and also, as bottom feeders, they are likely to have more heavy metals and other toxins in them.

But I'm a vegetarian who barfs at the mere smell of seafood so I don't know much :)

ddeokbokki · 16/08/2020 11:05

@YetAnotherSpartacus Yes but only sometimes as a treat

OP posts:
YetAnotherSpartacus · 16/08/2020 11:10

Do you shell them for her or does she sit with a little napkin, set of silver implements and a finger bowl? :) She looks perfectly capable.

My partner likes seafood but finds eating it a chore because he tends to be big pawed and finds the implements fiddly.

I'll suggest he comes back as you next cat :)

TheRedShoes75 · 16/08/2020 11:18

She is just gorgeous! Glad she’s back safe and sound and well done to your neighbour for spotting her.

ddeokbokki · 16/08/2020 11:47

@YetAnotherSpartacus Haha yes I do shell them for her :)

Oh she is precious! Also like the way you have clearly decorated your entire home to complement her colouring - it's the least she deserves! Grin

Oldestchild90s · 16/08/2020 12:24

I agree, house looks amazing love the cat accessories!

IAmTooBloodyHot · 16/08/2020 13:26

Oh my, she is so pretty 😻

gubbbbbddaaaa · 16/08/2020 13:28

If it happens again put her litter tray outside .

Bargebill19 · 16/08/2020 13:34

Lovely pictures. Very lucky madam. I hope she’s learnt that the grass is not always greener outside! (Mine get cooked cod as a treat!)

bengalcat · 16/08/2020 15:35

Mine love duck , whitefish , chicken and tuna along with the more usual biscuits , Lilly’s cat food , Whiskas and Felix - fussy creatures cats

Mykittensaremyfriends · 16/08/2020 18:14

Only just catching up on the post but so pleased to hear she's home. What an absolute beauty! 😻

Clymene · 16/08/2020 18:18

Oh I'm so glad she's back! She's beautiful and matches your home perfectly Smile
