Potential new cat

I had a home visit via WhatsApp on Sunday and I’m just waiting for someone to phone me to let me know whether I can have a cat or not.

The charity has two cats that are suitable for me (I already have a wee doggy). One is tortoiseshell and the other is calico.

I just need to tell someone as I’m so excited.

@wombatsandaplant

Thanks.

I was looking on catchat and there’s 100s in London and like 20 in the whole of Scotland on there lol. I’ve been checking the sspca website every day too but no cats that are suitable unfortunately.

Have you checked Facebook for your local town cat pages? We have one for our specific town for cat lovers that has rescue workers and all sorts on it, they often know about cats that haven't hit the system yet.

It also has people advertising occasionally but feels a lot more genuine than gumtree

Good luck!

Are there any breed rescues near you?.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/07/2020 07:36

Cinnamon trust?. They have cats whose owners have died & we're in a pandemic.

If you’ve got a local vet email them explaining the situation. They might know a cat up for Reno I got.

Thanks guys.

I’ve found a couple more places to register with. So here’s hoping.

I’ve found a Facebook group, a kitten rehoming place about 2 hours from me. We don’t have breed rescues up not that I can find anyway.
