Woody has been helping me with the gardening today, specifically overseeing the trimming of the lemon tree

They get on remarkably well despite Kloppy taking on the role of 'annoying little brother'. They had a mad half hour and at one point both scaled the trunk of the palm tree seen in that photo, of course I was too slow to capture it

Watching cheetah cubs

Chasing snowflakes this morning. It's Nemo's first time seeing snow. He chirrupped at the flakes, then batted them as they fell. He wasn't sure about the snow initially but spent most of the morning outside playing chase with Hobbes as the thaw set in.

They are both bitterly disappointed that I have just removed their inside jungle gym aka Christmas tree. They were very obstructive when I tried to sweep up the pine needles.

Someone has bitten one of his back paws- not too serious, will live but I'm £85 lighter!

Mine was breathing very fast, so I actually took him to the vet the day before the appointment, as I was quite worried. Vet gave him steroid and antibiotic jabs, so I'm keeping an eye on him and hoping it's not anything serious. Thing is, my other cat was PTS last year when a big growth was found on her lungs and she was having problems breathing 🤞. There's always something to worry about with cats

Basil and Sybil are behaving in their usual exuberant manner not.

Haribo is not happy. A neighbour is in the early stages of an extension being built and as the vans, digger, skips and portaloo are in the car park behind the houses, Haribo can't go and visit his friend Hugo whose house also backs onto the car park.

He's pouting in the greenhouse and hiding under the cover which is over the bottom of the garden gate where some delivery drivers shove parcels.

He’ll be happy if they disturb a mouse nest though. You, less so.

Cooked kedgeree for tea last night. Basil and Lenny seemed very interested & supervised from the kitchen table.

And this morning I have a very grumpy Lenny and Karl, who clearly think I'm responsible for the rain.

No, I'm clearly a woefully inadequate cat owner hostage.

Our neighbours put a cat kennel in their covered porch area. The cat sat on it and by it but never in it despite a fluffy blankie.

They moved and I really miss seeing that cat.
