Not happy with the weather today!

If I was a weather God I'd be certain to find a cat poo in my shoe!

Being loved by DS1. No one else is allowed to hold him like this and he does the little paws stretched in ecstasy thing while having his chin tickled

What does this thing do?

Oldraver - is DS Colin's human? It's great when cats have a human with whom they bond.

Want - Do I eat it, pat it off the table or wait to singe my whiskers on it? #catdilemmas

TheLongRider it was her first time on the table. She rarely goes in to the kitchen.

I'm not sure about that Longrider, DS1 doesn't live with us and now has his own cat, though loves all cats...even when thye dont want it

He says he's been to clients houses and they have been amazed when the previously very aloof cats make a fuss of him. I think he just gets away with loving them against their will and thye give in

I saw a meme recently...80% (or something) of cats suffer from enforced cuddling...I thought only 80%

Colin did seem to love it

Lyra is still bringing me in worms! I do wish it would stop raining so blooming often. I think we removed 10 from the kitchen yesterday (though I should be thankful she just plays with them her near the catflap in the hope we don't spot them).

Later this evening I expect they will both jump in the bath and ask me to turn the mixer tap on (so they can lick up luke warm water).

@Oldraver That’s like Asbo’s vet carrying him off rugby ball style under her arm. It’s not that he didn’t mind he was just so shocked at the audacity.

He travelled on a red cushion when he was a kitten......

Basil had the vet today for his 6 monthly check up.

He hates getting in the carrier, so on the advice of the vet we tried a harness.

Fairly successful until he was spooked by a dog in the car park and he climbed over my shoulder, tying me up in the lead.

She really is the sweetest girl. I can't understand why they don't like her. Maybe she violates a clause in the code of cat conduct

Soooo, we've just had to rescue Col off the roof if the house

DS2 didn't realise I had the window open (Erm the door had the catch on) and he must of got out the former onto the roof, over the apex and was frantically meowing at OH when he went out for a smoke

He was not impressed it was a) raining b) Mama shrugging him through the velum

You know he won't learn. I call it gittening when Nemo does stupid things git/kittening.

He'll do again and again and he'll be all pleased with himself the first time he gets down by himself. He's a real "Look Mum, no hands" kind of cat.

Yes had it been light and not raining we wouldn't of got him down, Im sure.

He didnt like the steepness of the roof and it was slippy. Dexter apparently was watching him from the, not as steep, garage roof

Its only a few years ago we found a little kitchen on next doors dormer window...how he got up we dont know

OH was worried he would have to go up on the roof

Lenny has been pretending to be a duster this afternoon, although I have no idea where he found that cobweb. At least it makes a change from him leaving copious quantities of fur on every possible surface.

Maybe he was looking for his Christmas presents?

Under the duvet at the mo. Feel very sad for all the strays outside 😿
