Clearly our cats can't see the point of one.

(Don't know where Karl is - probably outside mousing)

Geoffrey, that’s superb, what a great idea for winter in the UK! I bet they love that. And Winter, love the pictures of those greyhounds! Fabulous!

Havelock kindly allows me to share my bed.
He has 4 beds of his own, all of which he only deigned to use once he’d almost out grown them!
His preferred sleeping arrangement is to always have skin contact though.

Currently, all three of my cats sleep in actual cat beds bought for them! Old girl started it as she likes to sleep in the utility room by the tumble drier and I managed to get her to accept an igloo bed there (now with an electric heater pad), boy cat has an igloo in the kitchen after he set up camp on a tea towel under the radiator, and small girl has been the final convert after she was sleeping in the glove basket and now has a cat bed between the glove basket and shoe baskets on the unit in the hall. No one sleeps in the radiator cat bed bought after small girl started draping herself along the top of radiators. Right now boycat is half on me, half on ddog2 who has the other half of the sofa so I am squashed in the corner

Toddlerteaplease · 23/11/2019 16:54

Mine love theirs, Magic always sleeps in her tipi.

Tarot embracing the fleecy duvet and blanket on DD bed . She thinks the "Shades of Grey" look sets off the coat of a black cat nicely .

No cat-beds here but my DBro cats loves hers .

Arthur looks gorgeous (and see how a cat can carry off "Double Animal Print" ) Grin in his leopard hammock .

WinnerWinnerChickenDinner0 · 23/11/2019 19:11

Where else would I store the toys I buy that are ignored (so he can smash stuff and chase my very expensive ear rings under the fridge Hmm

SexlessBoulderBelly · 23/11/2019 19:11

Floss loves her sofa, my face and her cat tree.

Other than that she mostly just wants her bowl topping up.

Dcat's bed is currently DH's discarded jumper on the sofa. It has been for several weeks now and he isn't getting it back anytime soon, I don't think

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/11/2019 20:20

Floss is beautiful, I love her sofa.

gingerfreckles · 23/11/2019 21:43

King doesn't use the new slightly pricey cat bed that I bought him, probably because it's pink as we thought he was a she Confused but instead can be found sprawled out on the sofa.

There's more than one cat missing Grumpy, where is TC,

That was my thought exactly 😀 I think that Arthur’s leopardskin bed would be ideal for TC. I also love Magic’s tipi but where is Cheddar in the heated bed? Or has she given up using it?

Toddlerteaplease · 24/11/2019 07:26

Cheddar enjoying her heat pad. I'm having a proper cover made for it then I'm going to claim the cushion. As id like to reclaim the end of my sofa.

Thanks Toddlerteaplease. Cats on beds (with lots of photos) is an ideal relaxed Sunday thread!

madcatladyforever · 24/11/2019 08:44

Ancient DC likes me to put her enormous cat bed on top of my own king size bed when I go to work so she has the benefit of both. I don't think she moves all day tbh

BertieBotts · 24/11/2019 08:50

Hahaha. They exist to be sold to naive prospective cat owners :o

However those radiator hammock ones are great.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 24/11/2019 09:41

Since people have asked, TC does have his own bed - but prefers to sleep in his own filing box (name on box changed to protect his identity)

@SexlessBoulderBelly I may have squealed with glee at the photo of Floss and her sofa. I’ve showed it to everyone in the family and told DP that our DCat MUST have one for christmas Grin

Lllot5 · 24/11/2019 10:05

Oh I really want a cat. Miss mine.
None of mine have ever deigned to sleep in a cat bed.
