I forgot Merlin, he was our first black cat, when I was about 15.

They are very taken with DDs bed and think their beautiful black fur enhances her decor .....so they leave little pools of fluff wherever they sit

Of course , they are excited for Hallowe'en and plan to sit on the windowsill inside peering out .

It's 6 months since my tabby cat died and am finally ready to have another rescue. If we have a choice will certainly go for a black one as they stay longest in rescue centers.

Toddler - no they are all Battersea moggies. Basil was actually described as a DMH when I got him as a kitten (but I reckon DLH is a better description). Here's another picture of him to say hello to all .
