Best cat bed under £20?

The stray longhair tabby girl I feed has decided I'm Mum now, after I cuddled her on my chest for 3hours on fireworks night (she was yowling in terror in the garden) . What cat bed would anyone recommend? I got a bit overwhelmed by choice on Wish & Amazon.

Anna Mine are doubles too.... you can get extra wide ones :-)

Older don't encourage me! However my walls are also made of wattle and daub. I don't fancy the weight of radiator + cat hanging off them Shock

Teepee was £35 from lazy days pet beds. It has a slate heart with their names on. (Or anything else you like) The Late Fatty adored her cusion.

He's gorgeous. I think she'd like that bed as she loves fleece & hanging her legs over sides. She is v similar in markings but much fluffier middle/butt! (she's a bit dishevelled from a loo break in the rain at present tho) !

Both of my cats like cardboard boxes best with an old jumper / blanket. DCat1 likes to sleep stretched out so has a long shallow box (a bit like an apple tray from the supermarket) and DCat2 prefers a smaller deep box to hide in.

I got an igloo bed which has a fleece lining
He immediately abandoned my lap and refused to get out of the igloo for two days

And because I'm soft, I got him this to line it Hmm

Thank you! I think that's the winner (fantastic price too which appeals to my love of a bargain). And the floofy mat is the icing on the cake as she's so sweet & had a scary, stray life & I want to spoil her rotten!

Apparently the edge is "perfect kitty chin rest height"
He's never used any other bed so I was amazed, and now I want to sleep on sheepskin Grin

Such a gorgeous boy! He looks so cosy in there. I've orderd both, can't wait for her reaction(she's just started cuddling & purring after a year of 'argh, scary human:don't touch me! ' )

Mine has stolen a French rush shopping bag which I kept knitting in. Permanently, it turns out.

The other is squeezing herself into a small shoe box despite being 4.5kg. God knows why. Both of these items were supposedly for other purposes, but not any more.

The only designed cat bed my two will sleep in is a radiator one as mentioned by a previous poster. We got ours for 18 pounds at pets at home. Now the heating is on, it's quite amusing watching them argue over it!

greenlanes · 18/11/2018 15:06

Tried them all for my rescue boy (not helped by my DC trying to climb in/on them all). Finally at age 9 we have cracked it - - I bought the open, plush fabric cat bed from Aldi. He adores it! Absolutely adores it. He can snuggle into one corner, stretch out, but most importantly he can run if DC come near. So the igloo didnt work, the lined cardboard box, the hammock etc.

All mine have used a cat bed, I buy the fluffy donut shaped ones from b&m they’re under £10 each.
