My very special cat was pts this afternoon after being hit by a car. He's been in the vets all weekend and I was so hopeful he'd be saved. He was totally fabulous and he'll be missed very much. I feel totally devastated.
So I'm putting this on here just so I can say how bloody amazing he was.
Night frankie.

Really sorry to hear that. I still miss my cats that I had to pts months ago. They have a special place in our hearts, don't they?

Night frankie

Rip Frankie. It is so upsetting when the leave us but I am sure he had a lovely life with you

victoryvee · 04/06/2018 18:01

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate the comments. I can't believe what a hole he's left. I hope he realised how loved he was. I feel so guilty about the last couple of days he was in the vets alone

Very few cats want to be fussed when they are ill. Don't feel guilty, you did what was best. Bye Frankie, a much loved cat. Make sure you get someone to give you a big hug, OP.

So sorry OP Flowers My cat was PTS last year, I still miss him everyday. Take it easy, and look after yourself sounds like you have had a rough few days, but you have made the best decisions for your Frankie.

SilverHairedCat · 04/06/2018 20:20

I'm so sorry. Non cat people underestimate what big characters they are. Huge sympathies OP.

letstryagainaaahhhh · 04/06/2018 20:43

I'm so sorry about Frankie. Thanks

victoryvee · 04/06/2018 20:43

Thank you so much for all your support.
Me and my husband used to have a thing where him and our other cat (died a few years ago) were magicians and we think they've made their big break in Las Vegas. He's grumpy the first cat is excited. But they're living the dream.
Cats have such personalities. He was lovely and quietly loyal. And a fabulous magician.

Cats are Magic. Fact. 🤖😺😼

Mabelface · 04/06/2018 21:22

I feel your pain. My lovely Barry was pts last Tuesday with chronic kidney disease xxx

victoryvee · 04/06/2018 21:28

I'm so sorry about Barry. Do you want to tell us about his awesomeness? Xx

OP posts:
Mabelface · 05/06/2018 09:14

He was the type of cat who would purr if you just looked at him. The size of a small dog, but soft as anything. You could carry him round like a baby, even tickle his belly and he'd purr, no claws ever. We miss him. there's a big Barry sized ho're in the house.
