New Maine coon kitten

Hi, wanted to share my exciting news I was undecided what breed I wanted and after lots of research, I got an 8 week black smoke Maine Coone girl. She is amazing so chilled and friendly 3 days in she uses the litter tray, eats well and is amazing with my children.

Any fellow Maine Coone owners have any advice or suggestions related to keeping this breed? I can't believe what a gorgeous and happy kitten she is, I am in love.

kitty he is gorgeous. My Maine coon kitten was on the side of the bath last night did not mind her feet getting wet and stayed the whole time my DD was in the bath so I might try it, I agree the laid back personality is amazing.

Bailey is water mad! His favourite thing to do is empty the water ball by splashing it absolutely everywhere and flooding the floor 😂 they are sooo laid back! The Bengal is a complete nut case though 🙈

Mine doesn't chirrup, but he does miaow a lot, it means "'pick me up immediately", he loves being picked up, he really is a giant teddy.
He's not a water fan, but has had to be bathed a few times and was ok with it.

Name is Misty not really loving it if I'm honest, the DC chose it as she has silver fur on her legs and tummy. Can I ask what is a waterball? I can barely type without the kittens paws all over my iPad 😆

Mine is Zazzles, because he's so Zazzy. (It's from an episode of Big bang theory where Sheldon gets loads of cats)
My others are Eponine, Jemima and Matilda.

Does anyone have experience of the heart problems Maine coons can have? I was aware of this and when I spoke to my vet for my first girls check up yesterday, all she said was yes they are very prone to heart problems and whilst dcats heart sounded fine now it does not really mean anything, just keep bringing her in for her 6monthly checks. Her family history is ok I guess it's wait and see??
