Found Two Kittens

Found these two adorable baby kittens on the side of the road. Obviously been abandoned. They are so sweet and so young. I can keep them but not in the UK either so can't give them to a Mumsnetter 😔.

😂 to having two new additions. No into yet, I've literally just found them. I was actually en-route to collecting my bosses dogs from the vets when I found these two, so it's all my bosses fault!

One tip, don't give them milk to drink, just water (unless it is kitten milk which might be OK). Cows milk can upset their tummies. They are adorable. There are various Mumsnetters around who are outside the UK and may be able to advise on the specifics of where you are. It is a good idea to get them to a vet for a check and get local advise.

If there is any sort of rescue organisation near you such beautiful little kittens will be adopted in no time.

My childhood cats were left in a box on our steps. So tiny mum had to feed them with a dropper. They lived to be about 16iirc

Lactose free milk is ok for cats and cheaper then the cat milk stuff.

Get them de fleaed asap or you'll have more new additions to the family

Yes, if not in a box there may be more of them still there?

No it was just these two sitting next to each other on the side of a highway!! I put them in the box myself to take them home in my car. I'm assuming they've been abandoned because possibly they were breeders as they look as if they have Persian in them and the mother cross bred and the owners couldn't sell them. But just speculating.

Poor little things. Some people are just incomprehensibly heartless. How lucky that you spotted them.

No it's not common at all here. I don't even see wild cats. They are so living though so they must be used to human touch

There are probably more kittens near where you found these two. Some of them might have wandered a little. Can you go back and check? If there are more, they will not survive for long .

No it's not cold luckily. I will definitely check tomorrow to see if there are more. I can't put any more pics on as Mumsnet has a limit 😔. They are brother and sister and curl up into your neck. The one is trembling massively but obviously scared. They've eaten a lot and did two huge poos for such small kitties, luckily in the miniature litter tray I made. I will take them to vet tomorrow for a check.
