Found Two Kittens

Found these two adorable baby kittens on the side of the road. Obviously been abandoned. They are so sweet and so young. I can keep them but not in the UK either so can't give them to a Mumsnetter 😔.

There are probably more kittens near where you found these two. Some of them might have wandered a little

There may well be the mum still there as well. Could have been a stray cat that has had kittens?

I'm guessing sadly that they were abandoned by some heartless person. They were right on a highway on the side just the two of them. I thought they'd get run over. I doubt they are strays, they're litter trained and in good condition.

Oh if they are litter trained, and let you touch them, they must have been somewhere before.

The one that was traumatized is alot more relaxed today. They played around during the night and were chasing each others tails this morning

I'm not able to keep them unfortunately as my two cats would never forgive me.

A very good friend of mine lost her cat recently and has begged me to take them so I have agreed. She is coming around tomorrow to collect them. She works alongside a vet and has a horse, another cat and birds so she will be excellent with them and they will have a very loving home with her.

I'm disappointed as I'd have loved to have them but my own cats have been with me for years and travelled the globe alongside me and their noses would be seriously out of joint, especially my boy as when I got my girl he looked sad for months until he got used to her and I can't do that to him again 😿😞

I know exactly what you mean. My big one lost her spark when I got the kitten and it's taken a few months for her to start playing again. She loves the kitten just not me so much!
