I want to name her something Harry Potter related as I'm obsessed but DP is not complying 😉 Any ideas??

Shocked no one has suggested Mrs Norris!

Parmaviolets13 · 09/06/2017 10:13

SuperFlyHigh · 09/06/2017 13:32

What advice do you want?

Parmaviolets13 · 09/06/2017 20:07

Turns out Minerva was a boy! He's now called Albus 😉 He is currently behind the fridge nervous ☹️

EachandEveryone · 09/06/2017 20:46

Aw have you got a safe room for him with everything set up? I picked mine up on and she's not let out if the bedroom yet I think they need to explore slowly. Mind you I may be too careful as I still have her in a semi dark room!

EachandEveryone · 09/06/2017 20:46

Mines been in the same room for a week I meant to say.

Parmaviolets13 · 09/06/2017 20:51

We haven't ☹️ We're a one bed terrace but downstairs is quite open plan. I've got a little box with a blanket for him when he wants to venture out from behind the sofa. He has explored a few times and I have just left him to it so as to not overwhelm him. He did manage to get upstairs earlier and hid under the bed ☹️ Poor little thing. I assume it's normal for him to be like this?

OP posts:
EachandEveryone · 09/06/2017 20:56

Yes even though it's one bedroom it's probably massive to him. Is his tray near to his bed?im new too but I'm just doing what I did last year with the first one. Tray bed and food all where he can see it. She was locked in my kitchen for the first few days and this new one is locked in my bedroom which is working so far. Although I'll be glad when I can stop feeding her in there! Get a good scratching post both a flat cardboard one and a vertical pole and they are very messy when they are burying so get some good cheap carpet from Poundland that was my bargain of the week

EachandEveryone · 09/06/2017 20:57

And you must get a pole with something on the end!

Parmaviolets13 · 09/06/2017 21:01

I shall move his little bed to the kitchen, we already have a post so il get that out at some point too but probably not yet, don't want him to be overwhelmed. I wish I could help the poor bugger, he's actually asleep now behind my sofa
