Colin's getting a new playmate!

He just popped up on my local rescue shelters page. So cute, he's so tiny he fits in my hand! I want to call him Jeffrey. Dh is refusing to talk to me but look at his ickle face squeeeeeee

He's bloody lovely but I think he's more of a Clive.

Ds2 thinks he should be called dickhead. Because- well, dick on his face. But that's a step too far

He's lovely, and the dickhead name has made my ds roar with laughter after a bad day ( gcse maths anyone?)

Gorgeous boy. How old is Colin? I rescued a playmate for my girl last week it's been nerve wracking! But I bet boys are more laid back. What about Stanley?

Colin is 13 months and gigantic! I'm a bit concerned he might squash/ try to eat jeffrey

i wouldnt worry about colin being big my biggest cat biscuit runs away from my foster kittens , they usually chase him round the house

Jeffrey is very cute though.

fluufy its so funny to watch biscuit is about 6kgs and the kittens come up to him to make friends and he backs off with his paw swiping in thier general direction with huge wide saucer eyes, but then after a few days he lets them eat with him and does get over it

Maybe he just doesn't like kids

Oh just had a phone call from rescue centre to say Jeffrey/dickhead has cat flu we def won't be able to pick him up this weekend. Whats the prognosis Ina kitty so small? Am assuming it may not be good.

It's hard to say, hopefully he'll pull through. You must be gutted.

our rescue seems to get more than its fair share of cat flu kittens due to thier moms been strays for a while and the older kits who are nearly ready for adoption age seem to get though it quite well, its the tiny ones that struggle and dont always survive, its like flu in us not very nice for a few days but anti Bs and eye drops work miracles

Gah! I've been trying to post an update but it just won't let me! Good news is it's not cat flu! He's perked right up and isn't even on any meds. He had a sore tongue and they think he may have licked something he shouldn't have. Anyway long story short, he's seeing vet again on weds and coming home on thurs

He's home and full of beans! He literally hasn't stopped racing around the lounge. I keep waiting for him to flake out! He's already eaten and had two wees in his tray 😻
