Please name my kitten (pictures)

I have a one year old ragdoll girl called willow, and this is my 8 week old birman male kitten my dh thinks it needs to have another nature name but I'd convince him otherwise for the right one! So far I've called him blue, but I'm not sure it's 'the one ' please help! Thank you

I'm really surprised you got to bring him home at 8 weeks that is very young for a birman to leave its mum. He's lovely - what about Jasper or Louis?

Isadorable, I know it's very early but he had been separated since new born as mum wasn't able to feed him sadly and they lost his brother/sister :( as I understand it 8 weeks is the absolute earliest they should be able to leave (I know 12 weeks is the optimum age), he's very happy and adores my older girl, she's like a mother to him :) love those name suggestions, wish I love that one! That's a strong contender! Thank you :)

Choosing a name is so difficult!

Oh I think Bear is a fantastic name for him. Or Teddy Bear, then you can call him Teddy or Bear, or (most likely) Mommy's-Little-Booful-Baby-Boy.

He is so so cute. We have a cat called Lion, which was a combination of my son's choice and also it suited him in an ironic way as he was a real wimp as a kitten. I was reluctant as I always thought animals should have people names but I'm pleased we went with it as it really really suits him now!

Thank you all for your brilliant suggestions! I really appreciate them all :) stillliving funnily enough my sister said marshmallow (mallow) I love that! Yellow we've also discussed lion! Love that your son was involved in choosing it too! Sadly my ds is 2 so if I ask him it will probably be Peppa or ben'olly (Ben and holly) going to tell dh suggestions tonight!

I'm a firm believer in calling very beautiful and aristocratic cats - which he clearly is - by names which would have fitted Victorian under-gardeners. (Fred, Bert etc etc.) anything other than their pedigree names!
