I have a one year old ragdoll girl called willow, and this is my 8 week old birman male kitten my dh thinks it needs to have another nature name but I'd convince him otherwise for the right one! So far I've called him blue, but I'm not sure it's 'the one ' please help! Thank you Brew

Not nature based but he looks like a Sidney

Icequeen01 · 08/03/2017 23:32

What about Bo? I love that name. Can't think why I didn't name one of my cats that as I like it so much!

5OBalesofHay · 08/03/2017 23:33

Looks like a Dave.

shortandsweet1 · 08/03/2017 23:34

Love Fred Frank or Dave. I love a human name for a cat.

Destinysdaughter · 08/03/2017 23:35

Cutie pie!Bear

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 08/03/2017 23:49

He's delicious. He's certainly going to break a lot of Lady cats hearts.
He looks like a George to me.

GlobeSpotter · 09/03/2017 08:11

What a handsome fella! Mallow is lovely and it IS a nature name, the mallow plant is from the same family as the lavetera plant Smile

isadorable · 09/03/2017 18:03

Late suggestion. What about - Indi? As in indigo...

Llamacorn · 09/03/2017 18:18

He's so cute! I know someone with a very similar looking cat and she called him Blue too!

Bears a lovely name. Other naturey names I can think of:

Ash
Reed
River
Orion (not exactly nature based but I like it)
Storm
Winter
Ocean
Rain
Rocky
Aspen

ilovewelshrarebit123 · 09/03/2017 21:19

I had a domestic called Willow and we got a Siamese and called him Milo.

How about Milo?

RoseValleyRambles · 09/03/2017 21:21

I instantly thought marshmallow too - and it's both a nature name and a fun name!

Userone1 · 09/03/2017 21:27

Tobias which means precious

TheFurryMenace · 09/03/2017 22:23

Other trees, herbs or shrubs maybe?:
Acer (Ace for short?)
Maple
Elm (or Elmer)
Juniper (Junipurrr!)
Thyme
Herbie
Basil

I think he would suit Herbie, he's super cute!

Bluwilllowtree · 10/03/2017 06:21

Thank you all! You've all given me so many lovely suggestions! I really like mallow too now! But bo is lovely too! Ahh they all are! I love human names on animals but I'm not sure if I'd be able to say with a serious face, "Daaave come here for snuggles" "dave-my-choochy-woochy-wooo" haha!

Rowan, he needs to match to willow.

SapphireStrange · 10/03/2017 15:57

I think he looks like a Freddie or a Clive.

FancyPuffin · 10/03/2017 16:02

I would love to help, he's a little sweetheart.

However one of my cats is called Monsieur Fluffy Pants so I probably shouldn't be allowed to name things Grin

SapphireStrange · 10/03/2017 16:19

Fancy, no, please give us your suggestions, I'm agog. Grin

mrsglowglow · 11/03/2017 22:01

Ahhh he's lovely. I do like bear - very cute. How about
Mulberry
Juniper
Dandy
Chester
Muffin
Pebbles
Hunter
Fox

Enjoy your little fluff bundle!

mrsglowglow · 11/03/2017 22:05

Or

Bamboo! Nickname could be bambam or booboo!

Weebleswobbles · 11/03/2017 22:26

Simba

6cats3gingerkittens · 12/03/2017 23:13

Yummie, because he is.

rumblingDMexploitingbstds · 12/03/2017 23:20

Merlin
Angel (as you have a willow)
Sage
Noel (he just looks like a Noel, it's the delicate little face)

Love the pp suggestion of Rowan.

KittyConCarne · 12/03/2017 23:47

I really like Bear, Bo and Pebble!
Also like Mallow as it feels like a pair with Willow.
Other nature type names: Birch, Rocky, Fawn, Bud, Wolfie Grin

DDs named all ours after cakes (Jaffa, Fairy, Marble, Angel), which is only slightly better than their original ideas of Mermaid and Pretty-Boy Grin

TheElephantofSurprise · 12/03/2017 23:53

Fenella.
