Litter litter litter!

So we are after some different litter thanks to the shop stopping stocking our normal sanicat gold. We usually use clumping and the sanicat is the least dusty and least offensive smelling we have found.
What do you all use?

wood pellets, can compost.

I use Oko plus cats best gold standard

It's flushable

Children's play sand from Argos. It's soft on paws but non clumping so you have to change it frequently.

Intersand classic. No smell and clumps really well. Scoop once daily and full change once a month.

Worlds best cat litter. It's brilliant, clumps but doesn't stick to the tray and lasts forever!

Worlds best is my favourite, the one in the green bag. It clumps well, doesn't smell and is flushable which is such a massive plus for me.

Wood pellets, great and can burn or compost.

The Ono flushable one. It can be composted as well. I really miss it now I am fostering and have to use whatever is donated. I don't like wood pellets, they disintegrate and go soggy. Recycled paper is ok and soft on paws.

lovely stuff. no smell, flushable, expensive but lasts for weeks with top ups so works out cheaper, & when it's gone over (into dust) it can go into compost after being scooped out.

it does track a bit but that's the only fault.

Ah, I thought Öko Plus was the brand & cats best was the type - it's the other way round

@Madbengalmum, do you find the pellets-turned-to-dust-post-tray stink the house out, if you burn them in a household fire/woodburner? I'm a bit wary of that!

Yes, i burn in a mini incinerator with garden waste. I use a plant pot worth for two trays and line each tray with recycled newspaper and change daily. It keeps fresh and doesnt smell that way i also dont use loads either.

Fluffycloudland how to you find the clear up outside the litter tray? I've been using wood pellets but they tend to spread outside it Not really happy with the supermarket cat litters as I find them dusty and hate the heaviness of clumping cat litter.

I have a robo vacuum.

My preference would be World's Best (clumping and flushable!). Unfortunately the only thing that Mr T will countenance using is Catsan . Any other brands and he goes behind the TV instead!

I use a big mat that helps stop tracking, and just hoover up anything that gets tracked further every couple of days. The mat is good in that if the kitten goes mental digging and kicks LOADS out I can just tip it back in the litter tray if it clean.

Worlds best. I'm down to five cats, so still need a lot. It works out cheaper than the cheap stuff, over the same period of time.

I'm new to all this only have kittens over 3 weeks, my sail has cats recommended tigerino cat litter expensive €36 for 8 5 litre bags on a special offer from zoo plus fab however I've nothing to compare it to.

Sorry to slightly derail. I'm always dubious about people saying that it works out cheaper than the cheap stuff, over the same period of time, if I'm honest.

I use 1 bag of cheap clumping cat litter a week. That costs £1.55.

Are people really saying that 1 bag of £14 cat litter (basic worlds best 6.35kg) will last as long as 9 bags of cheap litter i.e. 9 weeks?!

Surely the volume of wee the cats do is the same regardless of litter, so will take the same volume of cat litter to soak up?

If anyone could clarify, that would be great. Thanks!

We use wood pellets - got them
free from someone DP did work for. Scoop poos whenever we see them (two cats so normally twice a day) and full change once a week.
