How big is your biggest cat?

I've had many cats but for whatever reason probably because I gravitate towards the runts they've all been very petite and only around 3.2kg when fully grown.

We have two kittens at the moment that have been with us since birth as we fostered their pregnant mother cat.

The girl was the runt and is 2.12kg at 18 weeks. I expect she'll stay quite small as she has very petite features.

The boy, Luke Skywhiskers, though.....what a monster!

He has been weighed at the vets this morning as 3.4kg at 18 weeks old!

Any guesses as to how big he might end up? What does your biggest cat weigh?

Be warned, stumbly. There are likely people reading this who have Maine Coons!

6.5kg.

We both have a winter weight and a summer weight.

16kg, yes hes a biiig boy! About the size of a medium dog.

4.9 kg She was 4.3 when I got her and her sister was 3.4kg and is now 4.7kg. Both a bit chunkier than they should be but difficult to tell under all the fluff!

I didn't realise that Bengals could be that big...I have friends with two but they're just a bit larger than an average cat.

Big. Very big.

About 6kg. He's a long haired black moggy. And you know when he's jumped in your lap!

Maine Coons are so beautiful

To be fair, the big boy is actually my mums cat. However, i could get some photos, just not til i visit her. He is unusually large though, plus he has issues with his thyriod which have added to his size.

Seniorboy was about 3.2 at his last weighing - he's gradually dropping from a 'high' of about 4. (Just age and nothing to be done about it.)

That is one beautiful beast Miss. I am fascinated Maine Coons. They start off normal sized kittens with floofy ears and grow into the nearest thing to having a lion in your home! Amazing!

At his peak, Fat Bastard Cat was 7.5kg. He's a bog standard tabby but very very long - people commented on his size before he became fat. He's lost a fair bit of weight now but yes, you know when you have 7.5kg sat on you. I can't get my head around 16kg of cat.

In fact when i see normal size cats (the size of my 1 year old) I think they look so small!

Dave is 6.8 kgs. (Maybe more now). Part Maine Coon.

And there isn't an ounce of fat on him. It's all bone and muscle.

7Kg or there abouts. He's just a mog. Not that tall in the grand scheme of things, but SOLID and very, very long! Previous cat was dinky 2Kg. Others were average.

10 kg. Possibly a bit more, now it's winter and he's a bit pudgy. He's only two years old too.

When he sits on my lap it's like having a massive blanket on. He's lovely (and yes, a MC).

Female MC is literally half the size. And I also have two moggy kittens who are barely two kg, and who love to sit on the big boy (he takes the opportunity to give them a really good clean)

He's a beaut Weeds. Looks a similar size to my boy cat. He's a gangly legged chunky boy. Unfortunately he's curled up in girl cat's bed so I can't get a decent photo of his size.

Here is a centile chart for cats. Not breed specific at all but maybe interesting as a general guide.

Mine are orientals so pretty petite. Old boy was 4kg in his prime, less at the end.
