Mine just tried to paw a pear out of my hand. I let her taste it when I was finished (no pip ingestion :)). She was licking away to her hearts content until I took it away... (I do not want to be cleaning up cat diarrhoea!). It was a bad idea in hindsight.. i won't be able to eat a pear in peace again

Salt and vinegar crisps and she loves bananas

chemenger · 29/11/2016 17:40

Most of my cats have loved olives.

TeddyIsaHe · 29/11/2016 17:41

TeddyCat used to go wild for olive pits, he'd paw constantly at my arm until I'd finished and grab the pit and spend ages licking every single last bit off. But never full olives, just the stone. Miss that little weirdo

OhWhatFuckeryIsThisNow · 29/11/2016 17:46

We had a cat who loved crystallised ginger, especially in chocolate. And thorntons toffee. (Which was hysterical) Dog that adored oranges and apple peel.

BikeRunSki · 29/11/2016 17:47

Baked beans
Toast and Marmite

ShimmeringIce · 29/11/2016 17:49

Lime cheesecake. I had assumed cats didn't like all citrus til then!

80sWaistcoat · 29/11/2016 17:53

Chicken tikka masala , obsessively. Difficult when had people round for rake out. They felt under pressure.

phoenix1973 · 29/11/2016 17:59

Cheese
Spag Bol
Chippy chips

bonzo77 · 29/11/2016 18:05

Broccoli. Spaghetti (but not other pasta).

sabrenathwaite · 29/11/2016 18:09

One of my dear departeds used to go really weirdly mad for ear wax. She would even attempt to lick it straight from your ear.

TondelayaDellaVentamiglia · 29/11/2016 18:20

first cat used to steal mushrooms and eat them

second cat went crazy if you had melon in the house, he also ate cabbage and he really liked spicy things...but not rice. If you gave him left overs he'd leave a clean pile of rice that he had sooked all the sauce from.
He also once ate all the chillies from a plant I was growing.

idiotcat likes beans and peas in all forms....he used to steal broad beans from the plants and eat them and the pods. Also bean juice....baked beans, or the water from chick peas/beans.

and he drinks coffee.
His sister is completely normal in her eating habits.

Palomb · 29/11/2016 18:29

One of mine is a crazy pea thief.

Weedsnseeds1 · 29/11/2016 19:37

Current cat is highly conservative in his tastes ( not even cheese or tuna, although roast chicken and crispy duck are acceptable). Previous dustbin cat liked olives, cucumber, cauliflower, broccoli, baked beans, spaghetti hoops, cabbage (not sprouts, sensible kitty), melon, stuffing, curry, pizza. Pretty much anything she could lay her thieving paws on. She was tiny, under 2Kg, surprisingly!

joangray38 · 29/11/2016 19:40

Any type of cake, plain biscuits, egg, hard boiled or runny he doesn't care. Likes a slurp of tea as he goes past. Recognises m&s packaging will come running if he sees anything aide by them and wants a taste.

Janey50 · 29/11/2016 19:45

Our cat loves sweetcorn and Marmite (not together!). Obviously have to ration the sweetcorn or explosive diarrhoea is the result! When anyone opens a tin of the stuff, she is instantly there, weaving around their legs.

HeyMicky · 29/11/2016 19:49

Blue cheese
Veggie curry

He's an idiot. A stinky idiot

Goingtobeawesome · 29/11/2016 19:57

Rice pudding and strawberry ice cream - both home made.

Chip shop chips.

Sweetcorn.

whojamaflip · 29/11/2016 20:02

Palomb - our old cat was a crazy pea thief too! Regularly found opened pods in the veggie patch where she'd been feasting Confused she would have mugged you for them Grin lost her 2 years ago and miss her like crazy Sad

DearMrDilkington · 29/11/2016 20:04

My cat loves bread, especially cheese sandwichesHmm

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/11/2016 20:04

Fondant icing. If you roll it up its a toy he can eat.

MrsRees90 · 29/11/2016 20:04
