Mine just tried to paw a pear out of my hand. I let her taste it when I was finished (no pip ingestion :)). She was licking away to her hearts content until I took it away... (I do not want to be cleaning up cat diarrhoea!). It was a bad idea in hindsight.. i won't be able to eat a pear in peace again

Doritos - took them out of a sharing bowl on the coffee table
Spag bol
Bubbles from the bath

Mine also likes a slurp of tea if he can get it

Artandco · 29/11/2016 20:30

Growing up out cats ate most things, but all hated even the smell of oranges or orange peel

Jacquinta · 29/11/2016 20:31

Melon and raw potatoes

OutrageousFlavourLikeFreesias · 29/11/2016 20:31

My littlest cat steals toast crusts. She carries them off into corners so she can crunch them up in peace. I used to think she was after the butter, but she steal them even when there's no butter at all.

Purplebluebird · 29/11/2016 20:33

Salad leaf with mexican salsa on? Grin weird cat.

Buddahbelly · 29/11/2016 20:34

Another cheese thief here, Once got it out to make my dinner and then had to answer the doorbell, when I came back it was gone, couldnt figure it out where it could have gone too until I walked into the spare room and saw the cheese thief nibbling it and drooling away, she'd dragged the whole block of cheese to her bed.

Today i had veggie spicy soup for dinner, when i came back from the toilet she was licking the bowl Hmm. shes a proper vegan cat and wont touch any meat at all, has to be fish only.

MummyStep123 · 29/11/2016 20:34

When my cat was a kitten he used to love lettuce, if I'd made tacos or fajitas he'd skip the beef or chicken and go straight for it. Strange! He's not a fan anymore though.

exWifebeginsat40 · 29/11/2016 20:35

popcorn. cabbage (raw). cooking oil.

my cats are idiots.

exWifebeginsat40 · 29/11/2016 20:36

in the interests of sharing I would like to add that the bubbles from the bath ARE delicious.

GrumbleBumble · 29/11/2016 20:40

Spicy nachos she used to knock the packet off the coffee table then tuck in . Her idiot brother loved broccoli and cauliflower(cooked). He would grab a floret and suck it like a dummy.

LostPlatypus · 29/11/2016 20:55

Pastry, tomato sauce (especially from baked beans) and olive oil. She goes absolutely bonkers for olive oil spread (not that fussed about butter weirdly) and will lick any unattended toast the second your back is turned.

ineedamoreadultieradult · 29/11/2016 20:57

Garlic in any form. Garlic is bad for cats. We have had several vets trips and lots of cat sick to deal with.

Lillagroda · 29/11/2016 20:59

Mayonnaise.
Coffee sweat from the pot lid.
Leek and potato soup.
Spag Bol.
Chips.

BikeRunSki · 29/11/2016 21:04

Mine has just eaten a plate of tortellini and pesto.

VivienneWestwoodsKnickers · 29/11/2016 21:05

Tea
Mango
Macaroni cheese

MrsBertMacklin · 29/11/2016 21:07

Won't eat chicken, fish, wet cat food or dreamies.

Goes mad for streaky bacon, trying to bat it off the fork. Likes licking/slurping the juice and seeds out of tomatoes, but leaves the flesh. No interest in milk or plain yoghurt, loves custard and ice cream (but nothing else which is sugary).

I think she had a weird upbringing, though.

DontCallMeBaby · 29/11/2016 21:11

People food. Anything we're eating, basically. Like a sensible kitty, he likes chicken, but to the extent that he'll get past any degree of spicy sauce to get at it. He's particularly keen on tomato soup, will lick the empty tin and end up with orange stains on his white bib.

The other one won't even eat tuna or plain chicken. He has a really dodgy bum though, so it's just as well.

bigtapdancingpimp · 29/11/2016 21:25

Ryvita and All-bran. No bowel cancer for him Hmm

NameSux · 29/11/2016 21:32

My brothers cat managed to lift the lid of my pizza and lick the toppings off when I left it on the sofa and tried to drunkinly find booze to drink with it (I was 18 and still living at home). Next week I got a Chinese and he bloody ate my curry chips too. He's now the size of a bowling ball

hardheadedwoman · 29/11/2016 21:34

Another melon lover here

TheABC · 29/11/2016 22:48

Latest moggie will happily eat anything dropped by the baby. Including crushed carrot and broccoli. He is supposed to be a pedigree but I think some dog got in the mix somewhere.

DH's former cat used to go mad for frozen peas.

RustyPaperclip · 29/11/2016 22:55

Victoria sponge, chicken satay, salted caramel cake, chicken chow mein, flour...the list goes on and has been mainly found out through sneaky paws and feline determination Grin

notapizzaeater · 29/11/2016 22:59

Porridge - every bloody morning ! Howls until I share the bowl .....

Also belly buttons - apparently everyone's are filthy !

Lifegavemelemons · 29/11/2016 23:14

Lol - we had a carboholic too, would whine until you shared a sandwich, her sister was the same about sweet corn - if the kids got it as a topping on pizza she used to pester them until they picked some bits off for her. Current moggies are more more conservative, just the usual meat, fish and dairy to hide from them .....
