We live in the countryside and we were walking when we found the tiny one. I took her to the vet straightaway to get her checked. She has nasty diahorea but is quite bright otherwise. They gave me a deworming, a probiotic thingy...I try to give her kitty milk but she is not keen. She drinks water and some specialised food that I bought from the vet. I'm planning on offering food every 3 hours : milk-food-water...she is asleep on heating pad on low. What else can I do !? I'm really worried she is not drinking the milk :(

Just found this thread, that is the cutest kitten!! So glad she pulled through, I was reading but not wanting to read your updates!
I wish I could find a kitten when I was out for a walk :)

TimeIhadaNameChange · 02/12/2016 10:09

I would say I'm sorry to hear you're feeling ill and hope you're better soon but I won't, cos I'm jealous of the day long kitten snuggles!!!!!

Enjoy

Yawnyawnallday · 02/12/2016 10:32

I hope you feel better soon . Flooftastic! I love the milk smudge on the muzzle- just like my little one.

Araminta99 · 02/12/2016 11:31

She is sooo gorgeous! What a lovely lady she is. I wanted to commend you on how well you are looking after her. People like you are real gems and it's so heartwarming to read your updates. It's cheered me up no end. Hope you feel much better soon.

GinAndTunic · 02/12/2016 11:47

I am so glad Bella is home and looking gorgeous! Please keep us posted.

cozietoesie · 02/12/2016 11:50

Ah that eye is looking normal now. Smile

I see they're changing colour? I just can't tell whether it's to green or amber. The latter would be my thought but........we shall see. Smile

user1477462353 · 02/12/2016 13:03

I think it will amber ! She is absolutely fine, my only concern is that she doesn't drink enough. She eats plenty of food but no so much water ! I think she will need syringed water maybe ? I'm taking to the vet again tonight for a check up !

She is the sweetest little thing. I'm envious OP 😼

Namechangeemergency · 02/12/2016 13:07

If she is eating pouch or tinned food there is a lot of water in that.
If she is dehydrated her fur/skin won't ping back into place if you pull it up.

It will just sit there or go back very slowly.

ExitPursuedBySpartacus · 02/12/2016 13:08

Sorry OP but you are clearly deluded.

That is a photo of a fur stole not a kitten.

Molecule · 02/12/2016 13:22

We had a feral kitten a couple of months ago thread here and I found mixing her food with kitten milk helped with her liquid intake, it made a tasty meaty soup. I have to say she didn't drink much, but ate lots, she was particularly fond of Felix posh kitten food. We had to find her a home as our dogs are incompatible with small cats, but she's definitely landed on her paws and is much loved.

Badcat666 · 02/12/2016 17:24

SHE'S SO FLUFFY!!!!!

goes into cute meltdown

Papergirl1968 · 02/12/2016 20:41

Well done, Op and Bella. I dread to think of how much it has cost! She's worth it Smile

user1477462353 · 02/12/2016 23:04

It has cost a lot but we have no regrets at all. She is just so lovely !

She's a honeybunch. Smile

RubbishMantra · 02/12/2016 23:34

Love the contented yawn photograph! Happy that she's allowed home from hospital. The MantraCats and I have been keeping all available appendages crossed for her.

Been checking in everyday to see how your tiny girl's doing. With a ruff like that, I wouldn't be surprised if she has some Maine Coon in her heritage. So possible she may grow into a not so tiny adult!

I love threads like this.

Araminta99 · 03/12/2016 01:13

Aww she's adorable! My favourite thread ever :)

Toddlerteaplease · 03/12/2016 04:06

She reminds be of Blackadder in the tumour series with her black coat and white ruff. But much more gorgeous, obviously Grin

Grin Sorry.

She's beautiful OP and making herself at home.

That bed is hers now. Just hers. You'll have to sleep on the floor from now on.

iloveeverykindofcat · 03/12/2016 07:40

I knew it. She's a fighter. I could see the will to pull through in her eyes, just like my Bibi girl. Congratulations OP, many happy years ahead.

user1477462353 · 03/12/2016 09:02

Well...I have barely slept last night...she is really on top form.

user1477462353 · 03/12/2016 09:05

Her sleeping in my bed was just a temporary solution the time she needed nursing etc....every time I leave the room she is in, I put her in her bed...every time I come back she (pretends) to be asleep right in the middle of the pillow.
