Free to a good home - approx 14 week old male, wormed, flea-ed and injected. Very cute and affectionate but cannot be trusted around money; currently in the doghouse for stealing 50 euros Angry Can be rehabilitated in the right home (a cashless one), inbox me for more details Grin

Do they have to be sliced or is she up for a whole one?

Heathen4Hire · 25/10/2016 17:01

My six month old kitten, Lady Beatrice, (seen here losing a battle with a tissue box) stole a clean, fresh bed sheet from the airer and put it in her litter tray.

emotionsecho · 25/10/2016 17:03

bigtap nope that confession is not acceptable definite signs of forgery and coercion tut tut you are really not truly understanding the law of "The cat is always innocent" are you?Grin

IAmAPaleontologist · 25/10/2016 17:07

This one can open the kitchen bin and get scrap food out. Nothing is safe. He particularly likes to get chicken bones out so now the bin has to be emptied straight away when we have chicken. I don't think he can get into the outside bin.

He also brings live prey into the house to play.

You don't think he can get into it............Grin

IAmAPaleontologist · 25/10/2016 18:17

He can get most places! He is a big cat and when he stretches up he has quite a reach!

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 25/10/2016 18:28

This one kills grey squirrels. At least four in the last five months. He is a one cat warrior

My name is Toffee and I enjoy stealing socks from the laundry rack to feather my bed. Which stopped being cute the day I was taken to the vets for my vaccinations when I refused to get out of my catbox. I was unceremoniously tipped out of my cat box along with 3 socks and a pair of my Mummy's knickers. I have no idea why my Mummy was so cross.

I'd bet on him against the outside bin, IAm. It's the look on his face as much as anything else. Wink

cozietoesie · 25/10/2016 18:34

That would be at the vet's? Grin

Potentialmadcatlady · 25/10/2016 18:39

Hair tags....endless hair tags are stolen and played with in this house....no matter how many times I tell the teen NOT to leave them lying around she does....vet is always telling me horror stories about how many he has found inside one cat but do either of them listen..no chance....

emwithme · 25/10/2016 18:43

One of these little furry asshats has taken a liking to eating/clawing boots.

They have been informed that if anything like this happens again, DH and I will have a very fetching pair of cat-skin hats obviously this is a joke

Nikwax. Smile

ThatStewie · 25/10/2016 18:50

cozietoesie It may have been at the vets. I still maintain Mummy over-reacted.

cozietoesie · 25/10/2016 18:56

Well it depends on the knickers, really. Grin

Fluffycloudland77 · 25/10/2016 19:06

I don't know what's worse, sensible period knickers or racy knickers.

Hidingtonothing · 25/10/2016 19:18

My kitten has stolen and shredded every sponge in the house. DD's bath sponge, the sponge scourer I'd left in the bathroom from a cleaning job, both washing up sponges (the human one and the one I used for animals dishes) and I found my shower puff in her water bowl this morning. No idea what the obsession with them is about, maybe she wants me to bath her, she likes to sleep in the (empty) bath and walk around the edge while the water's running giving me heart failure in case she falls in and the water is too hot so think she might want pampering Grin

Toddlerteaplease · 25/10/2016 19:55

Aww I want cats that steal things. Mine don't do anything. Apart from lolloping around the house looking gorgeous.

IAmAPaleontologist · 25/10/2016 19:58

Potential my do have recently rediscovered loom bands. Turns out the cat loves to eat loom bands. He also likes eating Lego, chewing the tails off plastic dinosaurs and eating stickeez. Though tbh I'm quite happy for him to eat stickeez as it gives me an excuse to throw them out Grin. One of my sister's cats likes eating ear plugs, but only used ones.

ThatStewie · 25/10/2016 21:01

It wasn't Mummys period pants. Hence the over-reaction.

WalkerBait · 26/10/2016 08:15

I've never tried a whole one, I've always sliced it for her (she takes it of plates sliced and takes it when I'm slicing it, she's never tried to take a whole one lol)

PenguindreamsofDraco · 26/10/2016 08:45

Can't link as on phone but there are marvellous YouTube videos showing cats reacting to having a whole cucumber laid behind them. Grin Alas PenguinCat did not follow suit when I tried it on her and merely gave me a hard stare before stalking off to plot her revenge.

moonbells · 27/10/2016 12:51

When Moonkitten the black and white bandit is not being uber cute and purring like a diesel he is off hunting the unsuspecting wildlife. Since August we've had two rats, a squirrel, countless mice, several songbirds and a pigeon or two. He rolled in last night sans yet another double-belled safety collar.

He is also a seat-thief extraordinaire.

Mooncat has also been threatened a few times as she steals food. From the bin bags if she feels it necessary. I keep telling her there is a limit to how much cuteness offsets naughty tortieness. I don't think she believes me.

SpecialStains · 27/10/2016 12:57

Special Cat steals post and carries it round like a dog. Caused a few arguments between me and DH as he insisted that I just have tidied away his mail and forgotten where I'd put it. It was the cat hiding it places!

My cat (over the rainbow bridge now) used to being mice, frogs, toads and birds in and let them go alive so we would have a nice present of a morning.

Would also like to shame all 6 of my kitty tribe for leaving a mouse in the kitchen for 3 weeks! We never did find it lol
