My black boy has no excuse of being a kitten still (over 2 now) but had a glorious few weeks of shredding the wallpaper behind the sofa. I don't mean at floor level where we couldn't see it, but the bits he could reach when sitting on the back of said sofa so right in the bloody middle.

Once he'd made a few nice patterns, and gouged right down to the plaster in one favourite area, he lost interest. But I don't dare move the little table in the far corner of the room to look there; there have been very suspicious noises from that area recently
