Oh the box wasn't that exciting sadly-it was flat pack. Sad Grin

Dh said 'she won't go in it' and for a couple of days she didn't bother much. but now she's always in it. Mostly on the top floor where I am convinced she thinks she's invisible.

Smokey kitten is just being allowed out after being done too, Posie - he keeps attacking dandelions and galloping full tilt across the lawn. At the moment he's convinced he needs to be outside all the time in case he's never allowed out again, but we're hoping that will wear off!

I love the way he trots in front of me to the food bowl, with his little tail all jaunty, and then droops if it isn't dinner time after all. And the little random "prr!" noise he makes.

These are my babies and I adore them fur balls and all.

The 2 on the car are bikkie and mo mo they are 5 year old sisters and the other is marble who is 18 and my baby.

I kind of love to hate my cats. I say this things to them that I wish I could say to my children. Yesterday I fired Sadie from her position as family cat because she shat in the bedroom and licked the lemon curd from my crumpet.
She has a fascination with my feet and likes to lick them and use them as a pillow.

Blue it is a nervous time isn't it! She was so good, trotting out then running back in again, exploring a bit more then back in, it was as if she was learning her route home! Very funny moment when she came proudly running in with a feather in her mouth, I think she may be a hunter...Shock We've decided to keep her in at night, our old girl never wandered far so was allowed to come and go as she pleased, but new cat is a lively one and could get into trouble I am sure!

Just found out "my" old puss cat has died this morning. He was an old boy, we got him from the CPL as a teeny tiny kitten when I was in my early teens. He used to sleep on my bed and I'd wake up in the morning and panic thinking I was paralysed as I couldn't move only to realise that the cat was asleep on my neck. He had got very skinny and wasn't grooming himself any more, poor old boy.

Tonight Ive had to climb 20 feet up a ladder to rescue my kitten from a willow tree
He must have been up there at least 5 hours as hadn't come in for his lunch! Shock
Climbing up a ladder holding a washing basket was not my idea of fun, but at least he had the sense to jump into the basket

I love a cat photos thread. All beautiful furries. This is Florence, she's feisty, chatty and doesn't like being picked up. Rescued at 9 years old and has trust issues but we love her.
And this is Hamish, new six month old kitt currently under house arrest till all vaccs are done.
