Oh, I'm so pleased he's still well, albeit elderly, cozie. I was a bit worried about asking. The family cat we had when I was a child lived till he was 21, so you never know...

BlueEyes - your kitten is perfection. And yes, I love cats' dignity too. Our sit with their tails so neatly wrapped round their bodies and their paws perfectly positioned side by side. So tidy.

And sleeping with a cat is one of life's joys. We can't have the cats in our bedroom because they make DH sneezy, but I sometimes sneakily join them for their afternoon nap on DS2's bed. Absolute heaven.

Too many beautiful cats to comment on here. They are all lovely.

My DH had to be 'convinced' that we need to get two more kittens from our local rescue centre a couple of years ago. He didn't want another cat (we still had one lovely elderly cat but had recently lost her brother and we're still mourning our boy). Three years on and the photos say it all really!

He's well over 21 now, Toffee. On the final furlong, I fear - but still enjoying his life.

We've had ours 3 weeks and she's just had her first trip outside. My it was an exhausting morning! All those smells to sniff, bits of grass to eat and feathers to catch. Safely back inside now and having a well earned nap!

Me and the cat are having a lazy afternoon while the gremlins watch a film. It's a hard life. I don't understand how anyone can be without cat. Wonderfully furry, fluffy, purry things.

The oldest recorded cat lived till 38, Cozie. So maybe the final furlong will last a while yet. Sounds like he is having a very happy dotage, anyway.

Love that picture, Tatty. When my mum (not an animal person in any way at all) comes to stay, she complains that our cats walk all over the tables and work surfaces. I'm afraid I just laugh now. We did make the mistake of trying to teach them not to when we were new cat owners and before we realised they were in charge, not us.

lol my sister gave them to me they are foot stools but they are way better as cat beds.Look at foot stools in your local area on ebay you may get lucky

She spent a week in the cattery last week, where she was spoilt rotten but she's home now being very vocal and demanding as per.

lighthouse, I reckon Little M(short haired semi-bald breed) bought his tail in a charity shop. In about 5 sizes too big, donated by a Persian.

Sometimes all I see is the tail, if the rest of his body's obscured from view, drifting along, like a floofy shark's fin.
