Gourmet cat soup

I kid you not!
Received an email today marketing 4 flavours sachets of cat soup, so being slave to my trio, off I trotted and Sainsburys have some (sure other supermarkets will also stock it) 40g sachets (read tiny) for 80p each, so I got one of each flavour. Tried a portion between two of mine and it was scoffed very quickly, never seen the bowls so clean. This was the tuna and anchovy flavour.
Glad they enjoyed it, but hope the price comes down!

Just got round to ordering some on my Sainsburys delivery, I've got them two to share.
Will update tomorrow.

Chain down your credit card first, Brillo. It might try to leave home! Grin

Well he liked the chicken one's liquid but left the solids. I'm a little disappointed in both their cost and their contents. I think he'd have eaten a whole pouch full of thick flavoursome liquid but, as I said, they seem to be a small amount of a really liquidy cat food rather than a 'soup' as I'd anticipated.

Rushed out to buy some soup after reading this post. The little buggers drank the 'refined' broth but left the chicken Angry

I reckon that for the cost, you're arguably better to simmer down some chicken/other meat in limited water, eg curry the resulting cooked solids and save the broth from it in little pots. (If you have a freezer and can store them that way.)

Himself almost shoved me out of the way to get to the bowl when I bought a sachet last week. Nowt left after about two seconds and the he rushed outside to show off to the rough cat next door 😁. Even better was the Applaws ones we got from Yorkshire trading yesterday. Three for a quid and I almost ate them myself
