Honestly the 'omg the germs the germs' bloody hysteria on MN is hilarious sometimes!

47 years old here and haven't died from pussy foot germs either, or cat fur in my sandwiches yet. :)

DH didn't even know I was buying this kitten
Him and DS were away for 4 days so I 'surprised' him, he plays it all cool but I caught him smoothing her and throwing her a toy mouse earlier
DS on the other hand is besotted.......

One of our relatives rang her dh to ask him to pick up kitten food on his way home. There cat was an adult.

She only went out for a new handbag.

Me: DH we're getting another cat.
DH: Are we? Ok when.

No need to rehome him then

DH walked in and came in the room twice before he noticed the kitten in my lap
DH; 'who are you looking after that for?'
Me; 'nobody, she ours'
DH; 'oh right' with this face

Lavender your DH is adorable. Throw him a treat, and let him have a little rest. He will be fine in the morning.

cozietoesie well, I do have to think of things such as vet bills, dead birds/mice/rats which kittens could bring home for the foreseeable future.

Well this Zombie thread is a blast from the past. That photo is so old only one of the worktop sitting cats is still alive, and the kitchen hasn't been that colour for many a year, anyway ...
