Does anyone else have a cat that smells really nice?

I was just thinking about my old girl (R.I.P.) - and she always smelled GREAT - so good that other people who got up close to her also commented on occasion! I loved nothing more than to bury my nose in her fur and have a good sniff.

We've not had this with the other cats - a couple of them are a bit whiffy and fishy smelling, and the others just don't really smell of anything at all.

I was just wondering if anyone else has a pleasantly fragrant cat!

Rosiecat smells like digestive biscuits. I don't often get the chance to snuggle into her furs as she's a ball of teeth and claws but when she does allow it she does smell great Smile

I thought I was the only cat sniffing weirdo. I love the smell of my ginger boy, he smells like candy floss and has the digestive biscuit feet smell.

Our black and white boy usually smells of woodsmoke, beautiful. He has come in smelling of another woman's perfume before tho Hmm

I just sniffed the kitten - she smells a bit like a seaweed-y beach. We live in the Midlands. Hmm

I mean really young kittens. Say under 10 weeks. They smell sweet and delicious.

I think that's why old cat smelled so good - she never really lost her kitten smell!

I've been sniffing them all - 10 year old cat smells like fried chicken, 5 year old cat smells quite sweet and fresh. Posh British Shorthair cat smells really fishy, and our 7 year old siblings don't really smell of anything. Grin

Just tried to sniff my girl cat. She smells of dust and I now have a scratch down my face! She apparently does not like me sniffing her tummy!Shock

Yes sometimes. My two either smell of nothing or of the outside: fresh air, grass, flowers or what have you. Never bad.

My cat smells peppery too. He's always smelled nice. Do enjoy a good tummy smush. When he's laid out on his back I just have to shove my face in his belly. He hates it but doesn't claw me thankfully.

Some of these smells sound like a Farrow and Ball name Smile I'm going to paint my dining room in Peppered Popcorn Paws. With a feature wall of Kitten Scent Grin

YesCat smells like my DCs ancient snuggling blankets. Don't know whether that's good or bad...

Oh I love burying my face in jollycats fur, he's out at the mo so I can't Sad
When he comes in from the garden he often smells 'smokey' and his little pads are icy cold,
Indoors his fur smells of dust, oh how I luff him Grin

Off subject a bit but did anyone see the program about cute animals? Apparently a cats purr lowers your blood pressure Smile

My kitten smells lovely, unfortunately she doesn't like me sniffing her and I have to pretend that I'm not really, or I get my face chewed Hmm

I can believe that purring lowers bp, it's the most relaxing sound.

Mr Cory smells of hay and warmed fur. The most heavenly perfume known to man. He also gets the facial bellyrub when I judge it safe for us both.

Well, out of all the neutral and nicely fragranced cats, I have the two whiffy ones on my knee - Mr Fried Chicken and Miss Fish Grin

One of my previous cats used to come home smelling of perfume sometimes. I know he had another woman/ other women. I never found out who though.

Oldboycat who died in October smelt delicious. Oldgirlcat still around smells yukky.

Two new kittens, 6mths old, boygingercat smells gorgeous, Girltabbycat smells fine but not so yummy.

I like the smell of my cats paws. They smell really sweet and lovely! I don't dare attempt to sniff her belly though! I'd get a face full of claws and teeth Grin in a playful way of course.

My boy smells lovely, like fabric conditioner. I love sniffing his head, he loves it too and purrs like a tractor. We call it nudgies Blush and have agreed we wont tell anyone as he's the neighbourhood tough guy.
Female cat likes nudgies too but she doesn't smell as nice.
