Ds2's schoolyard pal has a cat who has had kittens. There are five of them. Two boys and three girls.

I can't understand people who don't get their cats neutered mine are done on the dot as soon as they're six months.

Me too, hidden. My Olive isn't yet six months but will be done as soon as she is.
It's hard though. We all adore a stunning litter of kittens, but we judge people whose cats have these beautiful babies...

I'd sooner see the animal shelters empty and forgo seeing cute things I guess pedigree people have to breed their animals to keep the breed going, but nobody else has an adequate excuse really.

I don't accept the idea that breeders may breed but moggie owners breeding is wrong. Just doesn't work for me because of the hypocrisy.

We only have the bengal because dh thought it was a good idea.

I don't mind that really. I like to see fancy cats at cat shows. I really wanted a rag doll cat, but they cost a lot of money. They probably have health problems too.

Moggies are stronger. I've never had a pedigree. Those bengals are well expensive

Don't get me wrong - I LOVE cats of specific breeds! In fact, Bengals are the most stunning breed, IMO.
I just don't believe breeding moggies can be so morally reprehensible when breeding breeds is ok.
