My little cat is awol

I know it's that time of year when she may well be stuck in a shed or perhaps she's just decided to do the off for a few days but I am very sad

she hasn't been seen by us or the neighbours since Wednesday so posters printed and planning on knocking on all neighbours tomorrow.

DC are sad too and I can't bear the thought of her not coming home She is our first family pet and she's been with us, happily I thought, since November.

I miss her so much

I am actually really glad we buried her - gave me a chance to say goodbye to her properly and give her a last stroke. And it is surprisingly comforting to know she's not actually far away.

I am still going to buy a big pot and get a tree/shrub to remember her by - just minus the little casket at the bottom. will also be something for the DC to remember her by.

As always, thank you for all your kind words on here - as hard as it is, it is good to talk to people who just 'get it'

I'm pleased you managed to find some comfort. Unless you have pets yourself, I don't think you understand how precious they are. My cat means the absolute world to me, I adore her, I would take a bullet for her, and would be totally devastated if anything happened to her. After having lost two cats previously, I am genuinely truly thankful every time her gorgeous little face appears at the cat flap.
