I have 5 - always room for another!

absentmindeddooooodles · 10/09/2013 17:01

I had 3 mum and 2 kittens but one died :( so down to 2.

issey6cats · 10/09/2013 17:02

two tuxedos brother and sister who are 7 yrs old

the ginger and white haworth hooligan who is 6 adopted him as a rescue kitten

the half siamese half tabby 2 feral thug adopted from same rescue

and at the moment two 3 month old foster kittens 1 black on white and one tuxedo who will be going back to the same center soon for adoption

cozietoesie · 10/09/2013 17:05

At this moment, one. But he's an elderly and pretty crotchety Siamese so that's me for the time being. (He woudln't tolerate another cat now.)

BubbleBathFoam · 10/09/2013 17:53

2 here. I'd love more as I've always loved cats but DH would have a fit. He already calls me crazy cat lady because I treat them like they were one of the kids :)

ClaraOswald · 10/09/2013 17:59

2, they are twins aged 10.

JoTheUnsure · 10/09/2013 18:00

2, brother and sister rescued moggies now 15 years old. Insurance hideously expensive. ..

Tigerbomb · 10/09/2013 18:07

I have 2. One black and one tuxedo - both rescues

I want another black one as I have heard that they are the hardest to home.

My DH has said no - but he said no the last time and now he and Salem can't be parted

Merlin or Morgana may not have been born yet but I WILL be getting one

BubbleBathFoam · 10/09/2013 18:15

Tiger, I wanted an all black cat before I took in she-cat because I heard they were hardest to home too! She-cat was pretty much on my doorstep (next door neighbour's) so I housed her.

Failing that, I definitely would have gone to a sanctuary in search of a black. I did phone a sanctuary before having she-cat and they said they'd get back to me. They never did though.

Fluffycloudland77 · 10/09/2013 18:26

One at the moment.

We have had four when I was little.

thecatneuterer · 10/09/2013 18:59

20 (give or take - I haven't counted them for ages). I find once you get past five you just have a lot of cats, and it doesn't really make any difference how many more you have as you still just have a lot of cats :)

Lonecatwithkitten · 10/09/2013 20:29

I have two.
The posh arrogant boy who is officially the most evil cat in the world. He is a colour pointed BSH.
The tail less wonder, a tuxedo with no tail. A delight in every way.
Maximum two as they already have to 'timeshare' territory.

timtam23 · 10/09/2013 21:11

I have 3, 2 old cats who I adopted as kittens many years ago (not siblings) one gorgeous fluffy longhaired brown tabby & one shorthaired ginger tabby - had no plans for any more as we were just nursing the 2 old ones along in their final months. But 3 weeks ago we unexpectedly got a stray kitten when the garage found him under my bonnet. Really we could do with another kitten for him to play with, as the old cats are a bit upset when kitten-ambushed several times a day, but we don't have room for any more (and DH has said no more, as it's him who is at home with cats & kids every day)

catameringue · 10/09/2013 22:21

It often feels like I have 10s of cats - they always seem to be everywhere all at the same time.

I have 3.

One is all black and is a mixture of adorable, intelligent, a nob, funny and naughty. He does very annoying things like sneezing into my drink. He also carries around my scarves in his mouth.

issey6cats · 11/09/2013 00:18

tigerbomb you have not long missed your merlin and morgana we had a litter of georgous tabbies in the rescue i work at and i got to name them so called them tanith, morgana and merlin lol

itsnothingoriginal · 11/09/2013 10:54

One - I absolutely adore her and would have more but really couldn't afford it!

Wasapea · 11/09/2013 10:57

Three. One tortoiseshell girl with three legs, a ginger girl who is the sweetest cat in the world and a 10-month-old black and white boy.

I love them to bits. Cats are the best.

TheProsAndConsOfHitchhiking · 11/09/2013 10:58

I have 2 babies (twins) they are 15 weeks old and just lovely!

They are white with grey markings. And only one of them can meow!

Tigerbomb · 11/09/2013 18:08

oh Issey, give them a cuddle for me. Tabby cats are my next choice but know they are easier to home.

Im going to work on my husband again tonight to see if I can rehome one soon

ozymandiusking · 11/09/2013 18:17

As of today, none. We have had our wonderful puss put to sleep.
She was 18.5 ahe has had a wonderful life, lived abroad in the sun.
But she has recently lossed weight and become diabetic, and very deaf,
She was drinking so much and passing a lot of urine. It was time to go.
We are absolutely lossed without her.

blackcats73 · 11/09/2013 18:43

Got one Siamese kitten recently. I love her.

Lemsy · 11/09/2013 20:20

I have four, three taken in as strays (one who wouldn't take no for an answer) and one from the cats protection league. Love them all to bits :-)

Lovethesea · 11/09/2013 20:41

Two, one from rescue in 2012 and one from resuce this year.

Big tabby long haired cuddly boy

Small feisty mad tortie girl

They are fantastic

I'd love more but too expensive to insure, feed etc.

cozietoesie · 11/09/2013 20:56

Oh ozyymandius - so very sorry.
