Evil Cat has gone missing :(

She went out last night at 9, I called her at 10 for 20 mins, nothing.

I called her this morning, walked around the local area, looked in front gardens, nothing.

Need to wait til neighbours get home and ask then to check sheds etc.

She doesn't stray, is a homebody and hates the rain, refuses to go out in it (has rained all night and most of today)

Looking back she was sick a few days ago (chucked up her food, no fur) but then ate all subsequent food offered. Then last night she was hyper and acting strangely - she doesn't "do" mad kitten running/hiding etc but she was last night, I thoufht it was funny but now I'm concerned it was something more sinister.
I'm very worried. She's micro chipped so had she been taken to a vet id know by now.

She may be evil but she's my little ball of furry evil and I'm very worried Sad I hope she's just trapped somewhere and not injured or ill Sad

YY Random. Sparkling Cat has just come in so she's in now til morning, sleeping in bed with us.

RandomMess · 11/05/2013 22:33

Sparkling I don't go that far, they have to make do with being locking in the lounge Wink

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM · 11/05/2013 22:33

I can only relax when they are both in. Bizarrely I never worry about EC as she is very aware of danger - doesn't go near the roads and only strays as far as 4 houses either side and a couple of houses to the back of us. GM on the other hand tries to follow us to school (screams after us - it is so embarrassing!) and is very skittish around cars but will happily sunbathe in the middle of the road with his naughty-tortie friend!

I need my sleep so I am off to bed. Thanks for all your support eveyrone xx

am so glad she is home. Hurrah for Evil Cat. Hope her leg is ok too.

Fluffycloudland77 · 11/05/2013 23:02

Phew! Poor cat she must have been famished. Maybe she'll be more affectionate now.

thecatneuterer · 12/05/2013 03:31

yay! I've just seen the good news. I'm so pleased.

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM · 12/05/2013 06:13

Thanks, she is being lovely and she's full of beans this morning, phoning vet later this morning for advise.

That's good news. Is she still limping?

secretscwirrels · 12/05/2013 09:50

I am so pleased EC is back.

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM · 12/05/2013 16:40

Took her to the vets, she has a swollen knee joint but due to EC being....evil, she couldn't do a proper assessment! So, she gave her pain killer and anti inflammatory jab and advised keeping her in one room to help her rest and take her to reg vets tomorrow to see how she's walking (her limp is not massive so could be soft tissue)

So, will see what happens tomorrow.

I can't advocate pet insurance enough! that's all 3 pets now had claims!

Well that's better news than I had feared, BrianCox and sounds as if EC could even have jarred her leg or pulled a muscle jumping or something - rather than an RTA.

Pleased for you all.

Smile

I think so too, she is eating etc and I remember how GM was when he broke his pelvis, he slunk away to a dark corner to hide, EC is sitting in front of the TV, looking at me then the baby and doing the content slow blink thing Grin

I shall update tomorrow after vets x

I'm glad she seems ok.

I bet you're glad that EC doesn't have a broken pelvis. Our evil cat (of the purr, purr, scratch variety) broke his pelvis when I was a kid. Keeping him in while he healed and trying to give him meds was a horrible experience for everyone involved and as soon as we let him out again he buggered off and never came back. I imagine GM was much easier to deal with.

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM · 12/05/2013 17:28

Grin that's just rude!

GM was only 4 months old so was quite easy to contain. He did look a sorry sight though in his cage for 6 weeks. thankfully it coincided with the Xmas tree being up, so no kitten vs shiny tree incidents that year Grin

EC is very purr purr, scratch your face off. She can be so affectionate though, you just never know what you'll get Grin.

Aw, Exit. How long has it been now since she's been gone? A couple of years?
