Evil Cat has gone missing :(

She went out last night at 9, I called her at 10 for 20 mins, nothing.

I called her this morning, walked around the local area, looked in front gardens, nothing.

Need to wait til neighbours get home and ask then to check sheds etc.

She doesn't stray, is a homebody and hates the rain, refuses to go out in it (has rained all night and most of today)

Looking back she was sick a few days ago (chucked up her food, no fur) but then ate all subsequent food offered. Then last night she was hyper and acting strangely - she doesn't "do" mad kitten running/hiding etc but she was last night, I thoufht it was funny but now I'm concerned it was something more sinister.
I'm very worried. She's micro chipped so had she been taken to a vet id know by now.

She may be evil but she's my little ball of furry evil and I'm very worried Sad I hope she's just trapped somewhere and not injured or ill Sad

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM · 11/05/2013 21:01

Am so happy to announce, SHE'S BACK!!!!

Can't believe it, but I think the leaflets worked, I know she doesn't stray far and she is in good condition but starving (and used her litter tray straight away....?)

Have sent DD to the shop for Dreamies (her fave treat...EC not DD)

I am so relieved, I really didnt think she'd be found.

thanks for listening to me grumble everyone xx

Yay!!!! Where has she been?? Does cat dance Grin

cozietoesie · 11/05/2013 21:10

Yay!! Did she dive in gratefully or did she saunter in as if with not a care in the world?

What a relief for you.

Probably a shed or a garage despite what neighbours said. (Most people would just go in and look around generally - not start shifting things.)

So pleased for you all.

Jynxed · 11/05/2013 21:16

So pleased for you and kitty! Very odd feeling being worried for a cat you've never met!

cozietoesie · 11/05/2013 21:18

And such a pretty puss as well!

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM · 11/05/2013 21:18

shit shes limping :( Vets tomorrow.

cozietoesie · 11/05/2013 21:20

TLC tonight then and a nice quiet bed.

Good luck at the vets. (Keep a weather eye on her throughout the evening in case she has an injury which needs earlier attention.)

cozietoesie · 11/05/2013 21:24

PS - when she's calmed down, and if she'll let you handle her gently, might be a good idea to have a look at the paw and limbs of the offending leg. See if you can spot anything.

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM · 11/05/2013 21:24

yeah, she's insured so no worry about calling OOH vets. Oh bugger

She's home, shes eaten and she seems ok other than the limp so hopefully she's just had a knock.

I won't hesitate to get her seen to though if she deteriorates. Wil call Vets tomorrow regardless.

thanks cozie, I will, there may be scuff marks if she's been hit.

cozietoesie · 11/05/2013 21:27

She's home - that's the main thing. For her and for you all.

Sparklingbrook · 11/05/2013 22:07

You will sleep well tonight Brian. Phew.

ExitPursuedByABear · 11/05/2013 22:07

Oh my! How wonderful. I was thinking the worst but hoping for the best.

NettoSuperstar · 11/05/2013 22:09

She's faking a limp for extra Dreamies and a cuddle.
Bloody cats, annoying creatures, I do not like my cat at all and never cook her special meals, oh no.............
Glad she's home Brian

SchroSawMargeryDaw · 11/05/2013 22:11

Glad to see she's home!

I hope her leg is okay, lots of cuddles and treats for EvilCat tonight, if you don't normally have her in your bed perhaps it would be okay tonight? Just so she has all the extra heat and you can keep a close eye on her.

Netto My cats wont eat my cooking! :( Hmm

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM · 11/05/2013 22:15

Well she just battered Ginger Moron so think she isn't feeling too bad (she had nose kissed him earlier, lured him into a false sense of securty Grin)

I would have her in my room Schro but DS is only 6 weeks old and my room is no-cat zone at the minute. I have an empty cardboard box and her favourite cushion next to the radiator in the kitchen, she seems quite happy with that Smile

Literally feel a weight off my shoulders - hadn't realised how much it was stressing me out!

Oh and sorry to whoever it was suggesting my dog help look for her (I did read everyone's replies, but was being a big ol' drama llama so apologies for not replying).....my dog's abilities involve a) looking pretty b) being stupid and c) looking pretty stupid. I don't think she could sniff out a fart in a tube! Grin

cozietoesie · 11/05/2013 22:21

I take it she'll be grounded for a good few days ? (Even if showing no signs of injury by tomorrow morning.)

Wink
RandomMess · 11/05/2013 22:21

Glad EC has come home Smile

BrianCoxandTheTempleofDOOM · 11/05/2013 22:24

Oh she is so grounded cozie! She's had Dreamies and I'm doing a roast chicken tomorrow (she gets the juices that I don't make real gravy with ) she'll not want to leave me again in a hurry!

In fairness though, it's hammering down - she refuses to go out in the rain, it's forecast tomorrow too so she'll be under self imposed house arrest for a while yet Grin
