This morning she was coughing and has also had a sloppy bowel accident outside. She wasn't interested in breakfast even though I didn't come down until after 9 and she wasn't about when DH left at 7. He normally feeds her before he goes. I had to put the plate under her nose to get her to come and ear.

Her back legs are a bit wobbly and I will take her for a jab on Monday to hopefully get some relief. She didn't wee over night so that is postiive but when I was comforting her when she was coughing it really hit me that she is very old and isn't my baby anymore Sad.

She has lasted for DD's birthday but I am not sure she will make her own Sad.

I have just put a towel on the sofa for her to sit on, just in case, but she wasn't impressed and has jumped down on to the floor.

My cat is getting to the end of her life and I am not sure I will ever get over it Blush.

She means the world to me, is the only thing in the world that is 100% mine, and I will miss her so much.

If she's anything like Seniorboy. she likes being high up - it's draft free, safe, away from the front door and intruders, they can see things and have plenty of notice to dash back to a bedroom for safety.

JustFabulous · 03/01/2013 21:06

G'night FabCat Grin Sleep Tight!

Sunnywithshowers · 03/01/2013 21:12

LOL

Oscar guards me and DH at night. He likes to make sure he's got us safely tucked up in bed before he goes out to shout at the world.

My heart is pretty much back to normal now.

Why JustFab? What happened?

JustFabulous · 04/01/2013 18:51

I found a Bengal Kitten!

He was in the car park and I was so worried he was going to be run over. Very well looked after, beautiful colouring, no collar. I took him to the nearby PAH and they microchip checked him and found his owner. I carried him home. He tried to make a break for freedom when a van went by and when we got near to home but I kept hold. Discovered the child thought he was upstairs and the owner said he went out last night and never came home Shock. This kitten - 10 months old - had crossed a dual carriageway and a single carriage road and was hanging out in a busy car park. They seemed very happy to have him home but quite chilled "Oh, no again" when the vet rang and said they had him.

I got home to discover FABCat no where to be found. Eventually I found her and I was very relieved. She was happy I was home to let her in. I have since discovered DS1 moved her stool 2 days ago so she would have found it tricky to get in through her cat flap [cross].

Horsemad · 04/01/2013 19:25

I'd have been sooo relieved to have him back!

At least he was chipped so he could be reunited with his owners.

JustFabulous · 04/01/2013 19:45

FABCat has just been playing with her toy. I videoed her on my phone as she looks like a kitten herself!

Bless her, I've still got some videos of my little old lady cat Smile. So sweet!

JustFabulous · 12/01/2013 16:32

FABCat is hard core.

Earlier she has weed on the orange peel. Maybe the only cat who isn't repelled by them.

Now she has just weed inbetween the two pieces of tin foil. She used to run a mile when I unrolled some but is clearly wise to the pieces that lie on the floor and don't move or make a noise.

What else can I try??

Anyway, your DH would miss cleaning up after her... Grin

FABCat made DD cry Sad. She made DD get off the chair and then when FC decided she wanted to sit on the sofa instead she stepped between them both and fell off. She then, within seconds, jumped up to the chair she know had to herself and is now happily asleep. Whereas DD is only just getting past her tears.
